Excellent and walkable location: near the beach, stores and food trucks. It's very nice that the room has a kitchenette and a table. It's good that the cleaning service is only every 3 days. That's adequate and efficient. We also liked the lounge on the top floor, very comfortable to relax and to enjoy the views.
The air conditioning is very noisy and not as efficient so it's hard to sleep at night. It doesn't get cold enough to turn it down. The furniture is a little outdated. It would be nicer to have a king bed. Also, the elevator is so slow. One is out of commission so we usually have to wait longer.

We stayed at this hotel with our family and had two rooms: 1801 and 1507. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
The rooms are very old and poorly maintained. The beds were terrible — everything squeaked so badly that it was almost impossible to sleep. The air conditioner was blowing dust, and I immediately started having allergy symptoms.
During the night, something bit me while I was in bed, and I still have a swollen bump on my thigh.
Another major issue was the elevators. It often took 15–20 minutes just to get downstairs, which is completely unacceptable.
I have stayed in older hotels before, but many of them were much better maintained and more comfortable than this one. This hotel was simply a disaster. I would not recommend staying here.

The owner of this property has magnificent ocean views but has not updated the outside tinting so the windows are streaked and the drapes have holes and are in need of repair.
Fix the balcony furniture outside as is very rusted or the windows inside to insure a comfortable ocean view.

Perfect location, felt clean, well staffed, well managed and had this comfortable, homely vibe to it.

The supports under the middle of the bed were broken which was a little worrying for laying in the middle.
It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Great location to all the restaurants and shopping. Also within walking distance of the zoo.
The parking garage and having to pay 35.00 a day to park. Plus the garage was one way. We were told the price to park would go up to 45.00 a day starting the day after we arrived so we bought a week at 35.00 and put the sticker in window. The wall hanging blow dryer didn’t work and is a fire hazard. But, there was another blow dryer under the sink that we used.

Only one working elevator it was very loud the staff was very rude they never came to pick up my trash or clean my room exchange my towels even after I asked
This is not our first time in Waikiki and this time we chose a hotel a little further from the beach to save money. It turned out to be an advantage. No noise from the main street, short distance from everything that is happening in Waikiki. Friendly people at the reception and comfortable accommodation.
