El hotel tiene muy buena ubicación y buenas instalaciones en general. Nos gustó que nos prestaran toallas limpias de playa cada día. La mayoría del personal es amable y servicial.
Elegimos la opción de apartamento para realizar algunas comidas en él. Nos tocó un apartamento con mobiliario bastante viejo, el ventilador y el aparato del aire hacían ruido y la ducha era lo peor (vieja, mal aspecto e incómoda de usar). Desde el pasillo, observamos otro apartamento que estaban limpiando, que estaba renovado y con mucho mejor aspecto, asegúrense de que les dan ese. El nuestro necesita una renovación asap. El parking 45$ la noche es un abuso para los clientes.
I loved how close it was to the beach. Literally a 3 minute walk. I loved that they gave you chairs and umbrella for the beach for free. We had access to the pool and towels and everything even after we checked out on our last day. And they kept our bags and suitcases until right before our Lyft to the airport (9pm).
They didn’t clean/make our room and maybe better shampoo and conditioner. But not that important!

We really enjoyed our stay! The ocean-view room was wonderful, and the kitchen was very convenient, especially when traveling with children. It had a refrigerator, cookware, dishes, and even a rice cooker. We really appreciated the free beach towels and that we could exchange them for clean ones every day. The staff was very friendly and polite, and the hotel has a great location. Our kids especially loved the complimentary cold lemon water in the lobby — it was very refreshing on hot days!
We booked this room several months in advance, with a non-refundable rate, and paid $440 for two nights.
The main issue is that the photos shown in the booking made it appear that there would be at least a partial ocean view. We understood that it would not be a direct oceanfront view, but we expected to see the ocean from the side, as suggested by the photos.
However, when we arrived, we were given a room located directly above the parking garage, with a view of the parking lot. This was very disappointing and, in our opinion, misleading. If the room had been clearly described as having a “parking view” or “city view,” we would have known exactly what we were booking. Instead, the description did not make this clear, while the photos gave the impression that some ocean view would be available.
We even went downstairs to ask if it was possible to change rooms, but we were told that the property was sold out and there was nothing they could do.
The value for money was also extremely disappointing. The apartment itself was not in good condition: the carpet was heavily stained, the shower was very poor and basically just had a single weak water jet, and the air conditioning worked very badly. It was very noisy, only blowing air intermittently, and seemed to blow dust particles around the room.
What makes this even more frustrating is that, for only $100 more per night, we found a luxury oceanfront hotel, the Ilikai, with a spectacular panoramic ocean view from a much higher floor. The room was beautiful, brand new, extremely clean, and had an incredible view. In other words, we paid only $50 more per person per night to stay somewhere dramatically better.
In fact, we ended up saving money in another way because at the Ilikai we actually enjoyed staying in the room and could comfortably have breakfast, lunch, or dinner there. At this property, we did not even feel comfortable having breakfast in the room.
