The location was fabulous, 30 seconds walk to La Jolla Cove snorkelling and many great restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The view from the ocean view rooms are also great, perfect for sunset watching with gorgeous palm trees and ocean view. The hot tub and swimming pool are also great.
One downside is the noise from La Jolla Cove (because it is so close!). During the day we can constantly hear the banging noise of the restrooms doors down at the park. At night we can hear the barking of the sea lions. But I guess you do need to bear with it if you want to be this close to the cove!
I did like that. It was close by to the Cove and walking distance to restaurants and shops. The view from the terrorist room was nice and some aspects of the room was clean and nice as well too.
I didn’t like the $45 for valet parking. I didn’t like the fact that they are unable or unwilling to let you drop off your suitcases if you’re in the Terrence parking lot before you bring your car for valet as well as pick up your suitcases as well too. I didn’t like the 10+ steps had to make with my luggage and down with my luggage checking in and out to the terrace room. I didn’t like that the sheets were stained, as well as yes, I had a view, but the balcony when you sat down in the chairs, couldn’t even see the view because the balcony was blocking it. I didn’t like the aspect when I was checking out the woman who was there on Monday the 18 had no idea about checkout and when I tried to check out, she was trying to charge me another $300 even though I already paid. She had the wrong email set up or gave the wrong email for my room. There was also some molding in the shower. There’s no fan in the bathroom at all.
Stay away for the next 5 years as they finish construction. While we were warned of construction we had no idea what they really ment. 7am the jack hammers started. Then the dump trucks arrived. Our room was actually shaking. This went on for most of the day. Finally around 3pm they were done for the day. What a relief. Then the wedding started. The classical music and service was nice but Now the roof is shaling as they jump up and down for their dance party! I can't believe the city allows them to have this music blaring like this. It's almost 70dbs in our room! I'd call down to complain, but my phone doesn't work. Just stay the heck away. So very disappointed. Definitely don't prepay so if it turns to pop you can bail.
A horrible experience. For the price, I was expecting a nice hotel. What we got was a loud, budget in experience. Yes, they mentioned ongoingconstruction, but what they didn’t mention it was the late night extremely loud disco like music from the weddings. When I asked why the music? The front desk told me they were also a wedding venue. Four weddings during the three nights we there! No restaurant, just a little place to get coffee. I wanted to cancel and go someplace else but they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. I was stuck. The upside was the people: front desk, made, valet, all were extremely nice. Save your money. Go someplace else.
The view was everything the rooms were nice and spacious
There is construction going on so the noise is out of control, we was woken up to construction noise at 7am, the lighting in the hotels suck, it’s hard to get ready when you can see too good in the mirrors.

Fabulous location.
Pool is in an awkward position. I wish it had a bar/restaurant.
It is a quaint boutique hotel. All of the staff members that we interacted with were very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It was perfect for the getaway we were looking for.
Never check in on a weekend. The street is gridlock. No parking nearby. Only option is valet for $45. No warning of major construction at time of booking
Beautiful view of the beach
Pricey and not enough streetlights on the street for better visibility when walking at night
Klare Nichtempfehlung!!!
Do not stay here! It is a construction site! Loud demolition with many trucks going in and out all day long. No amenities- no lunch or dinner on site. To get to the pool, you have to walk on the STREET around the demolition site and walk up 100 steps. Save your money and stay a block or two off the La Hoya Cove beach which is dirty and smells very bad because of the 1000s of birds and seals.
We rented a two bedroom, two bath suite with living room and kitchen and were told we'd be in a Terrace Suite by the pool with a private parking lot. The parking lot was a tight dirt lot where construction wirkers parked their cars and we werent sure the car eould make it in and out of lot without hitting another vehicle. Were told there were renovations occuring in the hotel but had no idea that there would be no air conditioning and that furniture would be ripped and dirty and dusty , and that there would be renovations taking place around the clock , where we would be hearing noise throughout the day and evening. We had a reservation at another hotel in La Jolla. But once we made this reservation , it seemed too good to be true. Unfortunately it was too good to be true. Furniture was outdated and dirty and from at least thirty years ago. Our worst lodging experience ever. We asked to speak with management and were advised to email them. We were repeatedly ignored.
The location was the only positive.
Our bathroom smelled like sewage, there was construction debris falling from the ceiling, the room was tiny and lacked amenities.
A localização. As pessoas prestáveis
O barulho da construção logo às 7 da manhã, o barulho da música do casamento até muito tarde. O facto de terem bloquado o roof top em exclusivo para um grupo e sem acesso para os clientes.
Our accessible room was on the first level with a balcony facing the ocean front. Despite the busy street, it was nice to feel an ocean breeze from the early morning to sunset or anytime we wanted. The construction noise didn't really bother us. In terms of the cafe on site, we wish they would have some hot sandwiches or quiche breakfast items. The stay was pricey, but we did enjoy it. Stayed for three nights with a little discount they provided for a longer stay. All employees were super nice, friendly, and accommodating.
Beautiful view. Close to the cove
Upgrade fee paid twice but still had issues with the room. Smoking next to us which meant we couldn’t sit on balcony. Construction which we were not told about. Loud. Messy. Then the towels under the sink were all wet for some reason
