Great location, excellent breakfast, staff were wonderful

Location was very ideal. In between main highway and local town. The cleanliness from the moment we parked was noticeable. It is in between several QualComm buildings, so I can see why the cleanliness is of a high standard. Lobby was clean, the restaurant and bar were clean. Main hallways were clean and quiet. My kids loved the room, 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds. They loved how fancy it looked and how great the beds felt.

Very nice and quiet hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Everything is 5 to 10 mn away by car. Very generous free breakfast. Staff are nice. Housekeeping is by request and every other day. The kitchenette had everything you need. The parking is for 20$

The Hyatt House in Sorrento Valley is one of our favorite places to stay anywhere. Comfortable, clean, first-class staff, a great breakfast, Chomecast on the TVs. They take the World of Hyatt perks seriously. I could have done without the paid parking, but that seems to be a given in San Diego now.

The staff was great and having breakfast included is always nice. The hotel itself needs some TLC but overall was a good experience.

Great location if you are exploring both the city, la jolla, legoland (carlsbad), and safari. Very clean, decent size rooms and really good free breakfast with an awesome outdoor patio.

The entire stay was exceptional during our one month stay. The front desk staff were kind, friendly and a joy. The breakfast was literally 5 Star and the staff assisting with breakfast service were the best! Attentive and just fantastic. Always willing to help, anticipating needs frequently before we had time to ask. All the staff accepted my wife and I as family and were fantastic with Scout our Irish Terrier. Can’t say enough about our stay! We were in San Diego for treatment at California Protons Cancer Center and I would highly recommend Hyatt House Sorento Mesa to any one from out of town needing a home away from home during treatment.

Hotel was extremely clean and staff went above and beyond expectations! We were in town for a car show and the hotel was very helpful in keeping the cars safe! Thank you!

We booked a standard King Room, but to our surprise, we were upgraded to a spacious King Suite! It came with a full kitchen, a separate living room, and a private bedroom. It was such a wonderful surprise and made our stay even more comfortable. We truly appreciated the upgrade and had an amazing experience!

Great location within an easy drive to all the San Diego vacation spots from Balboa Park to the Wild Animal Park. Room was well appointed including a microwave and fridge. Really happy with my stay!

Property was perfect

We've stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but after this experience we won't be returning.

Our original room was infested with bugs. After reporting the issue, we were eventually moved to another room late that night. Unfortunately, when we opened the pullout bed in the new room, there were multiple spiders crawling on it. We have photos and videos documenting both issues.

What was most concerning was that we spoke with several other guests who also reported cockroach problems in their rooms, making it seem like this was not an isolated incident.

To the hotel's credit, management refunded one night's stay, refunded our parking fees, and provided Hyatt points. However, no compensation can make up for having pest issues in two different rooms. If cleanliness and pest control are important to you, I would look elsewhere.
