Klare Empfehlung in Washington - Sehr Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Lage in Laufweite zum weißen Haus (ca. 10 Minuten) George Washington Universität (ca. 15 Minuten) Leihfahrräder vor der Tür. Bequeme Betten, Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Radiowecker mit Anschluß zum Laden der Smartphones. Alles notwendige für 2-3 Tage da. Betten bequem, sauber. Es gibt kein Frühstück, aber rund um die Uhr Kaffee, Tee, Limonade, Eistee und Popcorn. Das Hotel ist kein Riesenkasten, sondern hat eine nette Größe.

Large room, tiny bathroom, had to ask for a lot of missing items that should already be in the room

It was a very large room, with good kitchen

Cons:

Several items missing from the room when we first checked in eg. dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, coffee machine, tea and coffee facilities, a cutting knife, white noise machine - seems like the room wasn’t properly prepared for new guests? We had to ask reception for all these items, but they should already be in the room when we checked in. The room was extremely dark, we had to ask for an extra lamp to be brought into the room. Bathroom is tiny and needs updating and warning it has NO ventilation whatsoever (we confirmed with staff).

Pros:

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Das Zimmer ist sehr gross und geräumig.

Cons:

Der Boden war nicht besonders sauber, insbesondere der Teppich. Zudem ist das Hotel sehr ringhörig, und wir hatten Pech mit lauten Zimmernachbarn. Das Zimmer ist zwar sehr gross, dafür war unser Bad ziemlich klein und bot nur wenig Abstellfläche.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is neat, cozy, compact, and clean.

Everything was very clean, and there were absolutely no unpleasant or musty smells in the room or throughout the hotel. The room was well cleaned and maintained. The air felt fresh, the air conditioning worked well, and the bedding was bright white and spotless.

24-hour access to tea, coffee, and other beverages near the front desk (self-service), which was very convenient.

We arrived about two hours before the scheduled check-in time. The staff kindly offered to store our luggage while we waited for our room to be ready and suggested that we explore the area, which we did. They kept us updated and notified us as soon as the room was ready. In fact, we were able to check in earlier than the official check-in time stated in the hotel’s policies, which was very convenient for us!

Cons:

There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

We also missed having a kettle in the room (perhaps we simply needed to ask for one), as we had tea and coffee available in the lobby.

There was also no dishwasher detergent provided for the dishwasher in the room.
