Awful
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The fact that they charge me $1500 and I’m not sure why I mean I already paid for the rooms and Booking.com. It looks like they charged me $1500 again for both of the rooms this place is a scam.

Our Getaway Place
Pros:

Excellent getaway place to stay for a week. The resort is superbly clean, with well-maintained rooms and beautiful surroundings. They offer a variety of well-planned activities, social events, and programs. The pools are clean and well maintained. There are awesome walking trails and a great golf course nearby. The location is also close to a variety of excellent restaurants, Historic Triangle, and is only about 20 minutes from Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.

This is one of the best places I have stayed at for a hotel. I would stay there again.
Pros:

Activity coordinator for Bingo was great. The rooms were clean and spacious almost like doing a VRBO. The pools, pickleball courts, and BBQ were fun to use.

Cons:

Going over the amenities at check-in. They felt rushed that day.

Poor summer stay
Pros:

We did not enjoy our stay. We checked in Monday and were promised service of room Wednesday, came back from day out Wednesday and nothing. Tried several calls to inquire and sent into AI system to contact front desk, what a joke. It's a closed loop nightmare that won't connect to anyone but same AI bot or disconnect. Access to food is sub par. Was told at Bistro for dinner for 7 with only a few high tops in Bistro that I could push 2 tables together in the check in lobby ??? No poolside service at larger Splash pool on hot summer day. Just a struggle to believe the manager of this property really cares.

Fun and relaxing stay
Pros:

Our family stayed 5 nights in a 2 bedroom accommodation. We were very pleased with the resort. It had a small activity center with a pool table, foosball, ping pong, video games, board games to check out, and a small theater. We also visited both of the pools, played miniature golf and pickle ball. My husband and I attended a wine tasting and we participated in a trivia game. Our accommodation was large, clean, and had a nice kitchen and washer & dryer. All the staff was friendly and the resort was well kept. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, quiet, and peacefull. Suprised the pool beside us wasn't open.
Pros:

Wasn't made aware there was a breakfast

Cons:

Could of eaten dinner on campus if made more aware of options. We went up to the Country Club but couldn't find a restaurant / grill. Nobody to ask there so we went off campus to an Italian Restaurant which was good.

Pros:

Families seemed to enjoy. They had grill and pool in the area we stayed in. It was quiet!

Cons:

They didn’t make bed everyday. Parts were under construction and at first it was hard to find room. Needed to drive from reception area.

Not a good choice for a short stay.
Pros:

We booked one night. We live in the Outerbanks of NC and I had business in Norfolk and we needed to pick up our granddaughter at the airport in Richmond the next day. We thought staying at Marriott's Manor Club in Williamsburg would be a nice respite. The day of our trip we received a sternly worded Email that under no circumstances could we check in before 4pm and absolutely had to be out of our room by 10am. They explicitly stated if you're a Marriottt Bonvoy member, they will not honor any request for early or late check-in. For a one-night stay, this pretty much negates any use of the resort facilities. We arrived a little after 4pm. It's summer, and the grounds are beautiful. Upon check-in we were charged $20 for parking. This isn't garage or covered parking. It isn't valet parking. It's just a parking lot in front of a low rise building. It's just a way to gouge their customers for an extra $20 bucks. We drove to our building/room, it was about 3/4 of a mile from the building where we checked in. Unbeknownst to us, because the front desk didn't inform us, they assigned us a handicapped room. The bathroom, the closets, the kitchen were all built for a person in a wheelchair. We were not asked whether this was O.K. or even informed. There were no towel bars in the bathroom, the shower permitted a wheel chair to roll in and had a shower curtain about 10 inches too short which allowed water to roll out of the shower and flood the floor, which had no drain. The shower itself consisted of a weak handheld shower head. All of the robe hooks in the bathroom were at about 42 inches, so anything hung on them, like a robe or towel, drug on the tile floor. The same with the closet in the bedroom. The lower part of my wife's dress was bunched up on the floor. The room was reasonably clean, not spotless. The bed was comfortable. We searched for a restaurant on-line for dinner. The only restaurant on the property is at the country club. We could not determine based on searching the internet whether we were permitted to dine at the country club because it said that it was for members only and guests. We were paying customers of the resort. Were we guests, or did that mean guests of country club members? There was also zero information about appropriate attire, i.e. formal or casual attire. There was zero information about the type of food or pricing. No menu available. The only on-line information we could find said the menu isn't published because the restaurant isn't open to the public. Not wanting to be embarrassed or turned away from the "country club", we dined off the resort which entailed about a 20 minute drive each way. Two of our sons made recommendations and we ate at a very nice restaurant in Williamsburg. We had to be out of our room by 10am sharp so we packed our things and left in the morning and didn't get to see anything of the resort or the amenities. I do not recommend this resort for a single night stay. It might be O.K if you're going to stay for multiple nights, but if you're not confined to a wheel chair, tell them you don't want an accessible room. Shortly after checking out, we got a call from a Marriott vacation club marketing person inquiring about our stay. When we expressed our concern about the room and lack of dining options she implied that we were at fault for not consulting the concierge that was 3/4 of a mile from our accommodations in a separate building. This facility isn't a good choice for a one night stay, and maybe questionable for longer stays. I didn't discover whether the parking fee was per night or per stay, but I don't like surprises and since there isn't any public transportation, I think Marriott should have disclosed the parking fee upon making the reservation. I find these last minute add on fees to be very bush league.
