Rooms were nice

I REALLY liked this place.

We arrived after a 14 hour car trip only to be told the hotel had overbooked and we had no room! No worries. Theg comped us a room at the resort just across street on the house. We checked in fine the next day which was nice. I won't lie, it did throw our vacation off a day tho.

The rooms:

We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom condo style "room". After years of staying in tiny Disney hotels I cannot say enough good things about this spacious resort with their fullest size kitchens! It was absolute heaven just to go grab some groceries and store them in a FULL SIZE FRIDGE! Did I mention the in room washer and dryer?! I was in love.

Is it old? Yeah. It's decorated more office casual circa 1998 rather than anything from this century. There's no themeing here. Which sucks. But I can't complain too much because we had so much room.

Con:

It's LOUD. You can hear people/kids stomping around all night.

The bed is ungodly rock hard. Like...maybe a mattress topper for comfort? It was painful but manageable when you're exhausted.

Will I come back?

Hell yes. Having a kitchen and washer/dyer in the room won me over. The staff was wonderful and it's right in the middle of EVERYTHING. I will definitely be back!!

Location and suite had everything we needed

I stayed here for more than 5 times. is a good average hotel but same problems persist all the time. Very noisy hotel in every way. Pray to have a top floor or you will not sleep at all because it looks like a very thin wood layer and you will hear elephants walking everywhere and kids jumping like monkeys all night. There is not any control in the pool area. Kids playing with non pool balls like baseball balls, football balls and others hitting very young kids bringing problems to other parents. There is a sign of not dividing and that’s 1st thing you will see everyone doing. Gym was closed today for no reason at all. It had a closed sign from 9am to 1pm but door was open, lights on and everything working perfectly fine. Manager went to kick me out of there and her excuse was they will work on the floor. But the floor is a rubber one so I can’t understand what really happened with the floor. Every years they have same excuse to have the gym closed for several hours. pretty sure they are trying to save electricity bill a little. As I always said. They have another hotel across the street and I have never had a single problem there. (Cypress Pointe) If I would had same situation there I will believe them but not in here. We staying for 8 nights so We ask them for a top floor if available in any other day and they said it worthless because one would be available but is 2 days before we leave but the reality was people on top Of us left 3 days before we get to leave and new neighbors are animals in a circus doing tricks all night.
