My normal stay is usually very nice and pretty clean but this particular room this day it smell like marijuana strongly and it had roaches I don't know if it was from the previous renter but I had to check out early fortunately they didn't give me too much of a problem I plan to revisit hopefully a different room not the same but I would definitely recommend a good stay just be sure to check your room out sometimes they don't have to ashtrays and the smoking room but I appreciate you still allow smoking in the rooms so I won't complain but too much.
I booked only one night because we had a soccer game, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with my two kids.
The marijuana smell throughout the hallway was unbearable, and the smell inside the room was absolutely disgusting. I honestly don’t understand how places like this are still allowed to operate and accept bookings.
To make things worse, a man and a woman (guests of this place) outside the building approached us asking for money and food. My kids felt unsafe, which is why I went to the front desk to report the situation and request a cancellation and refund.
The front desk employee simply told me there was a “non-refundable policy” once check-in was completed. Seriously? How was I supposed to know the hotel would be in such terrible condition before entering the room and seeing the building itself?
How can anyone feel safe trying to sleep surrounded by creepy people smoking weed and dealing with horrible odors inside the room?
The bathroom baseboards were filthy, there was hair everywhere, the beds smelled bad, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable.
On top of that, they charged a $150 deposit. Really? A deposit for this creepy place? This shouldn’t even be called a hotel — it’s a motel at best, and if possible, it deserves 0 stars.
They refused to refund my money because of their “non-refundable policy.”
*** If you are reading this review, PLEASE AVOID BOOKING THIS MOTEL. I repeat: AVOID BOOKING THIS MOTEL. ***
There was roaches all in the room
Breakfast, location and size of room were great
The room smelled like urine. The knob on AC unit was broken. The mattresses were old or cheap.
Dirty
Everything
Not very clean. Hair in tub and on bathroom floor. Razor left in shower. Bedspread was stained.
This place needs major overhaul. This place is not safe and very unclean. It the slums.
The halls are filthy and it smells like mold and human waste.
Staff was no kind and made it seem like we were a problem, we requested none smoking rooms and they no longer had any available when we arrived. Did not enjoy my experience will not be back.
Staff was rude, the whole place smelled like smoke and like it had not been cleaned since the 90s

Moral of the story: They followed me to my car after I left because they made me feel uncomfortable, waited outside my car and watched me, and called the police on me. simply because I asked to charge my jumpstarter so I could try to start my car
Can’t speak for the rooms. Full story below.
Full story:
Came in one night because my car battery died and I needed to charge my jumpstarter. They let me charge my jumpstarter for 15min but then began questioning my intentions after 10minutes and made me uncomfortable, so I left.
1. They followed me to my car
2. watched me (2 guys, one got in his car and parked behind my car and waited for me to leave),
3. and they called the police on me.
I didn’t deserve that, especially since I was nice to them/already dealing with car issues/wasn’t a disturbance and said I’d buy a room for the night if my car wouldn’t start. left on my own because they clearly didn’t want me there. Left after 10 minutes(desk guy said I could stay for 15min).
luckily I was able to get my car to start with the little bit of charge on the starter…. As an African American man in my mid 20s, I know they were racially+age profiling me.
Nice location - great restaurants nearby - hassle free check in and out - hotel could use renovations, but for the price point that I paid, it served the purpose of the trip. Hallways had an interesting aroma to it, so I would encourage the owners to invest in some air quality control systems. Also, the side door on top of the hill, ppl keep propping the door open or if you swing the door too wide to open it will remain open.
