Enjoyed our time
Pros:

Location....in the heart of old Québec. Charming hotel with history.

Cons:

No complimentary water in the room. There was a keurig machine...with pods, tea. So I'm supposed to pay for water.? With the room rate they can give some perk. Disappointed with that.

Great location. Much better than soulless, modern hotels.
Pros:

I loved this hotel. Great location for visiting the upper old town of Quebec City. The decor and layout was a pleasing change from standard, soulless modern hotels. We had a fantastic view over the town and river from our 6th floor bedroom window. Staff were helpful. The restaurant and bar were good.

Confortable malgré la petitesse de la chambre

Great location
Pros:

The location is perfect for visiting the chateau and the lovely boardwalk looking out at the river. There is a little park across the road which at the time I went had a music festival. I don't know about other rooms but mine was nothing to write home about. The bed was comfy so that was good. The wardrobe, when I found it was tucked in a corner and was unusable as it had the luggage rack and iron stored in there. The safe was on a shelf so high up I couldn't use that either. Carpet by the door needed a good clean. View from window was the inside light well with other hotel room windows directly opposite so I kept the curtain drawn. I was offered a different room for a payment of $80 per night so decided to stay. The bathroom was lovely and seems to have been newly upgraded. I did have breakfast here and was not impressed. The menu is set so you have what's on it and can't mix and match anything which if you don't like eggs is a problem. So again not impressed.
Oh and I should mention the funicular that will take you from the top of the hill to the old town at the bottom. Nice place to visit.

Pros:

The cleaness is really goood, the bed linens were all changed before we came and there was no hair or anything on bed or in bathroom. Location is soooo central, can walk to most destinations. Staffs are all very kind

Cons:

The room is quite small and according to the picture, there should be ceiling shower, but sadly there is no in our room.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Really good location but at the top of a hill . Rooms a nice size , comfy bed, clean and nice staff. Rooms also very quiet . We were there for 3 nights and found plenty to keep us occupied during our stay. There is a restaurant but we did not use it

Enjoyable but depressingly dark room
Pros:

Lovely vintage hotel.

Dark rooms not helped by dark furniture. No sockets by bed for charging phones. Bathroom immaculate with hot hot water. Big fridge but why no bottles of water ?

Only one lift so took ages to wait for space in lift and it was again, so dark. Indeed the whole hotel needed better lighting.

Overall a pleasant stay. If I was to return to QC I would look elsewhere.
