I never got there. They canceled my reservation with less than 12 hours notice.

he hotel canceled my reservation less than 12 hours before I was supposed to be there. Absolutely unbelievable. No offer of finding another room at another hotel. No offer of anything. Supposedly for remodeling. I cannot believe that they couldn’t schedule the remodeling two weeks out or whatever to give people adequate notice. I’ve never seen such a awful business practice in the Hospitality industry in my life.

Annoying then after the changes better

1st room toilet running and it smelled, the door wouldn’t lock or stay closed from the outside so we moved rooms, 2nd room smelled like dog or car urine so we moved again and the room was so much better

It was good.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Common areas very nice and clean. Offered extras in their little convenient store. Nice breakfast.

Staff and location combined, made it a great value stay.
Pros:

For the needs that I had for the property, it was very close to the highway, there was a Denny’s right next-door so that was perfect for a quick bit of food, also Aaron at the front desk, who checked me in past midnight, he was patient and fantastic. I was having some issues with my account and he worked his magic and helped me get checked in.

Cons:

I think it’s more with the policy than the property, but the damage deposit has to be charged on the same card as the one that that’s used to book it. Some hotels allow separate cards to be used, and I found out that some don’t, like this one. I think that should be a heads up to anybody who books with this hotel, just in case their funds are not altogether in one card.
