Bruit du vieil ascenseur au 5ème étage (contrepoids?)
Nos cambiaron al Hotel Savoia, que está al lado.
Si bien el Savoia es 5 estrellas y nosotros debíamos estar en el Continental, que es 4 estrellas, el hotel en realidad emparejaba con un 3 estrellas. Está sobrevalorado.
Me dieron un upgrade que consistió en trasladarnos a un hotel contiguo que era de la cadena Hilton
D'être surclassé au Savoie Hotel
Es la segunda vez que reservamos en este hotel, pero la primera en la que podemos usarlo (la anterior, hace 4 años, nos derivaron al hotel de al lado, un 5 estrellas de la misma empresa). Valió la pena insistir. Por empezar, llegamos a la mañana temprano, resignados a dejar las valijas e irnos a pasear. Pero no fue así: nos dieron la habitación de inmediato, algo que agradecimos muchos después de veinte horas de andar de viaje. La habitación (la de decorado de peces de las fotos) era una belleza absoluta. Había muy buen espacio para las valijas, los colchones eran comodísimos, el baño perfecto. El desayuno era muy completo para todos los gustos europeos y/o americanos (no me animaría a decir lo mismo de los países de Lejano Oriente). La zona, frente a la estación ferroviaria, es ideal para tomar trenes hacia otras ciudades. También hay paradas ómnibus en la plaza, frente al monumento de C. Colón (por ejemplo, el bus que va al Aeropuerto).. No es un barrio peligroso, ni siquiera de noche. Muchos restaurantes alrededor.
Cuidado con la bañera que es muy alta. A no descuidarse al entrar o salir.

Nice, big comfortable room with queensize bed. Old, antique style and very clean. The hotel is close to the central station so perfect if you‘re coming by train. A bit of walking to the main areas of the city but overall very central. Breakfast was good with very calm atmosphere.
The spa offered is really small and you have to pay for reserved slot of 1h. Despite they said only a max. of 8 people at the same time, there were 10+ people in the spa incl. small children.

Parto con dire che io sono stata spostata due GG prima dell'arrivo al Grand hotel Savoia , struttura adiacente ma allo stesso prezzo dell'offerta che avevo pagato . Quindi la mia valutazione è per l'hotel Grand hotel Savoia nel quale sono stata molto bene , personale educato e molto gentile , disponibile ad aiutarti nel orientarti nella visita della città, la camera e la struttura in sé molto accogliente e vicino alla stazione principe di Genova , colazione a buffet sia dolce che salata varia e buona .
