Superb staff and customer service at a great hotel. Hilton is still a top brand.
Nothing to mention
Just outside of the ULZ area but still walking distance of town and Kelvin grove. Very friendly staff. Beds very comfortable.
Area a little souless
The property was lovely and clean, The reception staff were very pleasant. Modern decor and a good location.
The restaurant was complete mayhem for breakfast. Quite a small area , lots of very stressed staff running around and openly swearing! Which everyone in the queue were shocked about. It was a buffet breakfast but they had ran out of bacon, which created another queue waiting for more. The lady before me asked about eggs was told " There is nobody to do it, we are too busy." ( this was by a young male staff member who also smashed a glass and again acted very aggressively angry! . I understand there were a few concerts and festivals that weekend, so it was very busy , but there was no need for the chaos that was the morning after.
Stay was for gig at ovo and property very close. Decent breakfast
Room was quite dusty especially above the tv and mirrors. Bathroom door handle was broken, toilet dirty on arrival. Air conditioning didn’t work well. I checked the prices of the room for other Sunday evenings dates and the rate was less than half the price which I was charged. . I assume that due to the fact there was a gig on they increase the price to more than double. I would therefore expect the cleaning standard of the room and the facilities to be increased too ( possibly complimentary water or biscuits etc).
Breakfast options were good with plenty to choose from and great standard of food!
A bit on the small space side between the bar and reception area for queing etc.
View! Room size
Food and drinks were great.
The shower was not usable as the water was coming out under the door and onto the carpet. Toilet is very hard to flush had to try several times.
Location
Nothing
Location to the hydro excellent, beds comfy
It’s basically a premier inn and the breakfast was awful! Queued out the door at 9am when we eventually got seated, had to ask for juice as the fresh juice was all empty and there were no glasses, had to ask twice for glasses which then came straight out the dishwasher to be told ‘that’s all Iv got’. I understand it was busy and the staff rushed but the attitude was awful! I then had to ask for bowls for fruit and then spoons which took at least 10mins to come out. There was then a long wait for more hot food. We also had to ask for mugs for coffee machine as well. Quite honestly the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had.
The toiletry bottles in the bathroom were empty as well
Very good staff overall. Clean and well maintained. Great location as we were going to a gig at the Ovo Arena. Parking available and safe for motorcycles as it is covered by cameras
Breakfast was chaos, the staff tried very hard but were understaffed and the breakfst area is far too small for the amount of guests.
Generally the bar/restaurant area was way too small, and we went to the Raddison accross the raod for a drink and food as there was no room to sit.
Location excellent as i was attending a concert at the Hydro. Car parking was a huge bonus. Nice breakfast
Nothing
Nice bar area.
Check in was terribly slow and not planned (it was always going to be busy). Waiter service was awful...asked a question, they went away to get an answer and blatantly forgot and didnt return at all. No cutlery available (in the restaurant) I had to ask for some. Pricing was extortionate for whst was offered. (2x rooms at £230 each i paid). Beds were too firm. Breakfast quality was poor. I had to request a veggie alternative to meat. Night manager/security fella wasnt very courteous (to others..I observed).
Had much better stays at a Premier in for 1/3 of the price
The rooms were clean and the reception staff were friendly and professional
The restaurant staff during breakfast were unattentive and rude, especially the F&B Manager. The staff did not look prepared or organised during busy times at breakfast. A long wait for food that was ordered in the evening.
