In più letto matrimoniale o doppio singolo. Ho selezionato letto matrimoniale: la camera era con letto una piazza e mezzo. Albergatore da responsabilità a Booking , Booking da responsabilità ad albergatore e mi da un voucher di 10 euro a fronte dei 35 in più pagati.

Il personale è estremamente cortese, sempre sorridente e chiaramente disponibile. L'hotel è vicinissimo alla strada principale, ma si trova in un vicoletto in cui non passano auto, per cui è estremamente tranquillo. La colazione è molto ricca, con tanta scelta e il cibo è stato molto buono

The finest of Rome, in a pretty part of town.
Pros:

The hotel is placed in a beautiful part of Rome: residential, quiet and affluent, yet within walking distance of Piazza del Popolo. This is my second stay. I discovered it in January 2024 and was delighted with it. A proper, old-fashioned yet modern refined hotel. The staff were superb. The airline broke my suitcase and a wonderful young lady, Andrada advised me where to go and get a new one. There was also one superb gent at reception. I didn’t learn his name; his manners impeccable, he is the epitome of proper gentlemanly treatment you get only in the most refined of hotels. Also, on checkout in the small hours of the morning, the gent on duty made me two perfect espressos and helped me on my way. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and the breakfast offered all one expects to have in this fabulous city.

La struttura si trova in una zona tranquilla e vicino alle fermate dei bus, quindi è facile raggiungere le principali località.

Ho soggiornato all'Hotel Villa Glori diverse volte e ogni esperienza è stata sempre eccellente. La posizione è davvero comoda, soprattutto per chi deve raggiungere l'Auditorium, che si trova a pochi minuti.
Il personale è uno dei punti di forza della struttura: sempre gentile, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza, con un'accoglienza che ti fa sentire come a casa. Le camere sono confortevoli e l'ambiente è curato e piacevole.
È un hotel che consiglio senza esitazione a chi cerca professionalità, comodità e un'atmosfera accogliente. Ogni volta è un piacere tornarci!

Okay but not great
Pros:

This hotel is more suited to people staying for a long weekend rather than a week or more.
We stayed for 7 nights and while it is generally clean and the staff polite & helpful, there are some issues.
The AC in our room was very noisy when on full, there was only an espresso machine in the room so no ability to make tea or coffee. After being used, items such as espresso pods etc were only partially replaced if at all.
The breakfast area is pleasant and well stocked but small. On one morning people had to queue and wait for tables to become free. Not great if you're in a rush.
The outside seating area is unusable due to ants which love to munch on your ankles. They had also made their way into the breakfast area.
Please note that there is a 'tourist tax' in Rome. We were told by reception that we would pay €7.50 per person but didn't find out until checkout that it is per night! A nasty shock just as we were leaving.
All in all, an okay place to stay for a short time but certainly not the 4* experience advertised!
