Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Hotellet hade en gammaldags elegans men var ändå praktiskt och bekvämt. Det är ju i grunden ett järnvägshotell och perfekt att bo på om man vill göra ett uppehåll när man reser med The Canadian.

I love staying in the old style hotels. They are just so beautiful and the price that I was able to get from booking.com was the same as an air bnb I was looking at so it was a no brainer to book The Hotel Fort Garry!
I didn’t like that my room was next to the ice machine room and it was the only one for several floors so all floors had to come to my floor to get ice, which they did, a lot. It wasn’t noisy at night though so that was good. Also, my window looked out to a brick wall, so literally no view. I was treating myself to a fancy hotel stay and the room they gave me didn’t make me feel like a fancy hotel stay.

The bed was way too soft. Had to sleep in the middle of the bed. The right side sank too low.
The bathroom was a bit dated. The tub should be replaced and the tiles in the bathroom are cracked in places.
No blackout curtains.
