Very nice hotel with beautiful architecture. Oval room food and service was top notch. We stayed 4 nights and the bartender Justin really made our experience memorable. All the service we received in the hotel was great. Conveniently have a comedy club and a wonderful spa. Can not wait to go again!
Lovely hotel from the staff to the room , very attentive and professional, loved the atmosphere, and well enjoyed our meal at the Oval room
A friendly and efficient check in at 03:45c in the morning due to a late train into Winnipeg.. The bed room was on the 8th floor and had a view over a busy road, however no traffic noise. Sleep quality and the beds excellent.
The hotel has an image in keeping with the golden age of rail travel.
We had one issue with regard to room cleaning however this was resolved by a wonderful complimentary breakfast in the Oval Room, therefore the star rating kept.
Did not use many of the other facilities during our 2 night stay, mainly due to our un-planned late arrival.
Would recommend, particularly if travelling by train as the hotel is only 1 block up from Union Station. A 5 minute walk! - including crossing busy Main St! The Forks 10 minutes walk away or so.
Everything was good with our room. Very comfortable.
Parking was hard to figure out. The desk clerk told us we needed to enter from the side street. But she didn’t give us any information how to get there. For instance she should have told us if you’re parked in front go out onto the street make left turn and another left turn onto the street next to the building. We didn’t know that side street was one way. We went out of your driveway and made a right hand turn and another right hand turn which brought us behind the building and couldn’t enter the one way street.
Beautiful hotel - superb staff - a destination hotel -
Nothing
Walkable to everywhere I was visiting. Shower/water pressure is amazing; friendly staff. Beautiful and comfortable room. Windows have pull down shades for complete darkness overnight. Quiet. Restaurants on-site!
TV had some issues with signal, but this was insignificant comparatively.
Always a great stay at the Fort Garry. The staff are so kind and the hotel is classic and beautiful. Quiet at night. 10 Spa is a necessity.
Great location
Spent the night in room 202 haunted room
Disappointed no Ghosts lol
Wish there was a fridge in the room.
Nice old hotel with a lot of character.Room was clean close to downtown. Valet parking is convenient and worth the extra fee. We ate in the restaurant downstairs and the breakfast was good. Would recommend this hotel if you have business downtown or if you're attending a hockey game.

Dining rooms and staff in the dining rooms
There was no door men at the front entrance. It would be nice to have them greet the people
A beautiful charming hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The on site Italian restaurant served delicious food and top notch service.
Our room was close to the elevators. There was minor noise that sounded like thunder when they operated.
Lovely building, bed comfortable however for the price we paid we would expect a working coffee maker and tv. We had to call front desk to send someone up to figure out the coffee maker which in the end did not function properly. So no coffee until restaurant opened at 7:30. No coffee, cranky client. There is a coffee machine in the lobby which you had to pay for. Front desk sent someone up to try and figure out the tv. Finally the second person sent up got it going. Rooms are clean, housecoats in room is a nice touch. Parking attendants were great. Front desk staff good. While this is a lovely old hotel, value for money is definitely not here. Our next visit to Winnipeg from NW Ontario will be spent elsewhere
