It was so quiet and it was close to the hydro and it was only 10 min in the taxi from queen's Street station
There wasn't anything that we didn't like really
Rooms
No Safty box in the room
Really friendly welcome with our room upgraded.
Kids swim lessons in the spa rather spoiled the experience
Comfortable bed, clean.
The air conditioning leaked water through the light fitting constantly during the night. I reported this to reception that evening and was advised to turn off the air con, which I did. We were not offered any change in room. This left the room very hot during the stay. However it still dripped constantly during the night which disturbed our sleep and the floor was soaking underneath the light fitting. We placed a towel underneath which soaked through as well. We were also concerned about using the light switch during the night when using the bathroom because of the water and electrics.
I reported the situation again to the reception staff and the maintenance man was at the reception at the time, I was given a lengthy explanation about the air con system freezing then unfreezing and that's why it happens which doesn't help guests trying to sleep or be concerned about electrocution. I was offered no compensation or apology. The hotel was expensive for the service received.
Super
The leisure facilities were amazing.
Location was fantastic.
I know we didn't book in advance, but I felt breakfast was very expensive.
I thought it was also annoying that when I asked for some orange cordial that "the bar is closed" and I had to pay for it.
I will give praise to the staff member, as she eventually obliged.
Also, even though I had paid for late check out our key card expired while we were in the pool Sunday morning.
Hotel roon big
Bed was comy
My husband was ill taken to hospital woth stroke hotel helped me a lot thanks guys
16.95 for breafast is a lot to charge i went ti gregs around the corner
Although the room was small, it had a HUGE bathtub! I enjoy a good bath. It is a great location walkable to many areas including the Hydro OVO Arena and the Grand Central Railway. It is also a short walk to the bus. It felt very safe. The bar/restaurant area is nice. We had a good lunch there. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.
The twin room was very pretty small for 2 people. One of the front desk staff was pretty unfriendly but from what they staff told me, they work 7 days a week with 12 hour shifts. All the other staffers were great. Overall, a good value in Glasgow.
great place to stay
Clean, pool, breakfast all good
None
The room was fantastic. Spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool and sauna were fantastic too and never busy.
There were 2 televisions in the room and neither worked, we only had ITV2. There's only so much family guy you can watch.
Everything was clean and looked amazing.
Nothing everything was above standard
