Price, location, and a quiet and decent room
The rooms are very small, but that's why the price is so good
The location was excellent.
I very rarely write any reviews, however on this occasion need to mention a few aspects, considering price of the stay.
Complimentary coffee (no tea) comes from a flask with either a donut or croissant (no butter).
No refreshments in the room.
Towels changed daily, but no other room service performed.
The $300 hold that was put on my Card for 'incidentals'.
The room was OK, except one of the window blinds could not be adjusted as it was broken.
The fridge was 6ft up on a shelf, so basically not really accessible.
One bedside light was temperamental about coming on.
Lighting in the bathroom is old and not great.
And view out the window was poor.
Very nice staff and great location
…but the room was extremely small and completely worn out. Also the bed was small, definitely not for 2 people.
Extremely Good Location
Breakfast should be inclusive with having at least 3 snacks plus tea & coffee.
Very friendly staff at reception. But housekeeping not up to standards
Housekeeping (limpieza habitaciones, hacer camas)
Staff, location
Can hear side and upper neighbors quite a bit. Squeaky floor boards from upstairs was very loud.
Location, staff super friendly, clean
The noise levels (garbage trucks at 03:00 am), the smells from the kitchen (6-10 pm), the bed was very small,
The property was extremely clean. Position was excellent. transport two minutes away. Newbury Street parallel and Boston Library in front.
Lighting was quite dim.
The location of the hotel is phenomenal—right next to Copley T station and Copley Square, one block from Newbury Street, and just two blocks from the Prudential Center. It made getting around and exploring the area incredibly convenient.
I was also very positively surprised by the room. Based on previous reviews mentioning very small rooms and bathrooms, I had lower expectations, but the room I stayed in was good overall. It had a comfortable standard double bed (which would be a bit tight but still manageable for two people; I was on my own, so it was great), a small pull-out table that comfortably fit a laptop for working, and a bathroom that was perfectly OK, with a shower and good water pressure.
The breakfast offered by the hotel was quite limited; basically just coffee and a croissant. However, there is a diner attached to the hotel (there is a door connecting the hotel lobby to the diner, no need to go outside if it's cold) that offers a full breakfast menu, and hotel guests receive a good discount there, which helps offset this limitation.
Another minor drawback was the window setup: the blinds did not block daylight effectively, so the room became quite bright in the morning even when they were closed. Additionally, the view was toward a narrow alley surrounded by other buildings, meaning that people could potentially see into the room if the blinds were not fully closed.
Best you can do in Back Bay without paying even more.
Location is great, staff is helpful and friendly.
AC was very old and loud, had to turn it off to be able to sleep.
Specifically booked a better room to have a desk, which turned out to be pullout board, wit ha foldable chair in the closet.
Most of the interior looked very old not in a charming way like pictures online.
