Fabulous part of town, clean & spacious (for NYC), but expensive!
Pros:

This is an amazing location if you want access to Central Park and the Upper Westside. We walked everywhere and it was an easy subway ride to other parts of the city. Extremely clean and staff were warm and helpful. The mini-kitchen was great and we cooked dinner there, getting yummy food from gourmet grocery across the street.

Cons:

It's a smidge dated and there are few working outlets for plugging up devices.

Exxcellent stay
Pros:

Comfortable room. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Excellent location, close to Central Park and the subway station short block away. Having the little kitchen was a big plus since Fairway Market is right across the street for beverages, bagels, lox, yogurt and fruit. A Trader joe's is just a little further.

J'ai adoré cet hôtel qui a gardé son âme d'antan.
Pros:

Emplacement idéale dans l'Upper West Side - quartier animé mais sans la masse de touristes de Midtown. à quelques minutes à pied de Central Park. Nombreux commerces, bars et restaurants à proximité. Avenues animées mais rues calmes avec des arbres .et de belles maison. Chambres très spacieuse avec espace cuisine. Beaucoup d'espace de rangements. Lit très confortables. Personnel très accueillant.

Cons:

La salle de bain est petite par rapport à la superficie de la chambre et est un peu vieillotte et ne correspond plus aux critères actuelles mais moi j'apprécie justement ce côté ancien.

It was very pricey, could have been better in a great location.
Pros:

The suite of rooms is beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable

Cons:

There was a large cockroach in our room, which we showed to the front desk. They were apologetic and offered to move our room. I felt they should have done more.
