Friendly staff, great location, nice room (actually, 2 rooms in one apart). Quite comfortable laundry self-service (that was important for us as we had been travelling for a while before staying in Beacon Hotel). Really good place nearby for breakfast!
There was some renovation work at the hotel. which slightly affected the overall atmosphere

Apesar de ser tudo muito limpo, completo e tudo mais, eu achei o mobiliário meio cansado… Precisa ser reformado, trocado. Está tudo muito envelhecido.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Upon learning of a change in our party's composition, the front desk was able to change our room to accommodate us. We love the location: easy access to subway to get anywhere; markets, store and great restaurants within easy walking distance; Central Park close by.

Das Apartment, dass wir zu viert hatten, war recht groß für New York. Leider war die ausfahrbare Couch im Wohnzimmer sehr unbequem, da die Kinder davon blaue Flecken bekamen aufgrund der Stangen im Bettrost. Wir hätten uns noch einen Tisch gewünscht, an dem man essen kann. Die Unterkunft ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und in den Gängen ist es recht düster. Nichtsdestotrotz war es für unsere Zwecke sehr gut, da die Lage top ist. Ein großer Vorteil ist der Supermarkt gegenüber. Dort kann man alles zu einigermaßen fairen Preisen kaufen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich. Wir haben das Apartment für weitaus weniger Geld bekommen, als es eigentlich kostet, da es ein Angebot war. Wenn wir dafür allerdings den Originalpreis bezahlt hätten, wäre es viel zu teuer gewesen.
Das habe ich oben schon erwähnt.
