The what’s the amount of noise coming from construction inside the hotel. The filthy room. When I checked in, the rug near the heating system was totally soaked

Wat een geweldig hotel met mooie kamers, vriendelijk personeel in een veilige mooie wijk. Ik ging met mijn zoon van 16 naar New York. We vonden bij hotel Beacon een mooie ruime suite met elk ons een eigen queensize bed en een keukentje. Het hotel overtrof onze verwachtingen. De ramen konden open en er was airco en verwarming, ook heel fijn. Het was een veilige prettige buurt, waar je s avonds prima over straat kon lopen. Vlakbij een metrostation met 3 lijnen waardoor je zo bent waar je wilt zijn en vlakbij leuke eettentjes en tegenover een supermarkt. De ligging tussen de Hudson en Central park was ook erg prettig. Kortom een aanrader dit hotel.

Only thing I liked was the locatioin

Cons:

Bathroom was extremely small with a tub for a shower. Bathroom smelled. No outlets by or on your nightstands for charging phones. The outlets that were available across the room, half didn't work

Loved our stay and The Beacon and will surely stay there again should the opportunity arise.
Pros:

The hotel was fine and in a good location, but it was the staff who really made the difference at this hotel. Omar, especially went out of his way to accommodate our every need and always with a smile. He truly made our stay exceptional.

Cons:

No real compalints and I'm really being picky here, but it would have been nice to have a comfortable chair in the room.

The perfect place to stay in NYC. Highly recommend!
Pros:

Staff were extremely helpful! From an email prior to arrival asking about laundry facilities, to greeting us upon check in to help with parking. Michael was extremely helpful and kind. Loved having the kitchenette in the room, and the market across the street was a bonus. Great location - close to subway and Central Park.

Cons:

Honestly can't think of anything we were unhappy with.
