On the very big upside, the location together with the (very tight) parking is probably the best in Arras and makes up for a lot of the shortfalls
The room and most of the building was average and a little old fashioned and tired. Never seen beds made like this with bedding on top of the mattress?
There were nowhere near enough staff and the poor chap that was there on his own when we arrived was run ragged trying to organise Parking, Check in and run the bar so at the same time - so none got done well - not for his lack of effort.
The Bar was never run particularly well due to too much staff multi-tasking, and the poor chap in his third week was trying to serve dinner to our group of a18 and run the bar. he did an amazing job, but we all felt very sorry for him.
Breakfast was ok, but kept running out and was not well attended or restocked.
No working Gents toilet in the restaurant was not very impressive.

L’emplacement et le petit déjeuner n’était pas à la hauteur de l’établissement. Pas de bouteille d’eau ni de chaussons dans la suite junior !

A bit of a yak ride to get to the room, especially with luggage as the stairs are quite steep. Room was a little small and looking a bit tired. Also no walk in shower, having to step in and out of the bath, when wet is a bit precarious.
Wonderful comfy bed, good location, friendly staff and everything you could want for a tasty breakfast

Centraal gelegen hotel. Het eigen parkeerterrein was vol maar de vriendelijke receptionist kwam naar de slagboom om aanwijzingen te geven waar we het beste op straat konden parkeren. Eerste uur was gratis en op zondag ook. Daardoor was het parkeren voor ons gratis. In de hal op de begane grond is een koffie en thee machine waar je gratis gebruik van mag maken. Hele lekkere hamburger gegeten bij O’Boons op loopafstand.
Wij waren niet zo’n fan van de zgn. topper op het matras. Maar dat is misschien een kwestie van voorkeur.

We got the impression that the place was being run on a shoestring budget.
Ideal location. Secure accessible parking (booked in advance). Comfortable quiet room (same room as we'd previously stayed in). Polite and helpful staff.
A kettle in the room would have been preferable to carrying a cup of hot water up in the lift & stairs from the dispenser in the lobby.
