Cons:

Dated and not really 4*. Parking is at extra cost. No aircon and worst was room 118 view as shown on pics. Hotel were apologetic about lack of view when booking stated city or courtyard view! See pics. All very dated but super comfy bed and lovely staff

If in Arras again I would not hesitate to stay at L'Univers
Pros:

The central location of the hotel and the helpful and friendly staff were wonderful. A welcome bonus is that one even gets to choose from a several types of pillow for the night.

Cons:

The elevator does not extend to the top floor.

Arras is a lovely place, hotel short walking distance of centre but lack of air con a problem

Location excellent, staff all good, room nice,

Cons:

No air con in room, 38 deg outside and so sleeping was problematical on our visit. The approach to the hotel was scruffy but once in it was fine.

Great overnight stay right in centre of Arras with secure motorcycle parking
Pros:

Great location in the centre of Arras.
Secure parking for motorcycles in the inner courtyard - the gate is locked at night.
Spotless/large rooms.
Coffee/tea etc in the foyer 24/7.
Comfortable beds.
Friendly/helpful staff.
Great breakfast (extra charge).
Staff offered a room change regarding issues below but I couldn't be bothered.

Cons:

Shower wouldn't work but used the bath instead.
Separate toilet smelt strongly of nicotine smoke.

Location of the hotel exceptional staff were brilliant beautiful hotel

Cons:

No A/C in the whole hotel just a fan in your room one of the hottest days in the year just couldn't get a good night's sleep so spoilt for us the experience

Pros:

Mooie binnenplaats met uitstekende parkeermogelijkheid. Ontbijt was summier. met ws te jonge bediening,tafels niet afgeruimd enz.
Locatie is prachtig vlak bij het centrum.

Cons:

Badkamer met erg hoge badinstap. Een rolluik in de slaapkamer kon niet omlaag en had ook geen vitrage!

Bikes had be parked on the paved area but we still got charged. No Air Con any where in the hotel. Electricty went off in the middle of the night which caused the cooling fan to stop. Staff unable to resolve the issue which led to a poor nights sleep. Stair wells and carpets were dirty and i would of expected these areas to be kept clean. Deliveries at 06.30 were so noisy that the whole hotel must of been woken up... not great.

Een fijne locatie met parkeergelegenheid, midden in de stad. Koffie, thee en koud bruisend water beschikbaar in de lobby, lekker ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

We waren er tijdens een hittegolf, dus geen airco en de kleine ramen boven een plat dak maakten het een hele benauwde nacht.

BON SEJOUR, sauf qu'on a souffert de la canicule. La température de la chambre ne descendait pas.
Pros:

Parking à l'intérieur de la cour.
Proximité du centre ville.
Mise à disposition d'un distributeur d'eau et de café.
Personnel accueil souriant.

Cons:

Chambre non climatisée. Période de la canicule. La nuit, si on laissait la fenêtre et le volet ouverts, on avait la clarté des phares de la cour en plein dans la chambre.
En cas de canicule, prévoir des VENTILATEURS.
Pour que la barrière du parking s'ouvre (pas de code), il faut sortir de la voiture et sonner. En cas de pluie, c'est délicat.
L'interphone devrait être plus proche, accessible depuis la fenêtre de la portière de la voiture.

Perfect for what we needed clean smart room parking and easy to walk around from.
Pros:

Nice period property in the centre was easy to visit the sites. Nice to have parking on site. Also great that dogs are well catered for.

Cons:

The bar and restaurant seemed dead at night I no we was out of season. So atmosphere was a little flat.

Près du centre-ville. Mais vieux.
Pros:

Pas de air conditioning.Seulement un ventilateur.La 3eme nuit à arrêté parce que la chambre n'apas eu d'électricité. C'était fixé le matin.Mais j'avais une nuit terrible.Et a mon arrivée on m'a donné une chambre, le dernier qui existait,au deuxième étage que plus petite je n 'ai jamais vu,et pour y aller j'ai dû prendre l'escalier. On m'a dit que c'était la fête delà musique. Ils ont changé ma chambre 2 jour après.

Cons:

L'hôtel est vieux. Il y a un seul employé après 19.00h
pour tous les devoirs. Et on a beaucoup de chambres. Et avec la canicule c'était dur.
