Nothing
This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had.
After arriving at the hotel around 5:00 PM following a long journey with my family, including tired children, I was informed that the suite I had reserved was still not ready. What made the situation even worse was that the staff could not provide any estimated time for when the room would be available. Their only solution was to offer complimentary drinks at the bar while we waited.
I spoke with the manager, who repeatedly apologized but offered no real assistance. When I explained that we had just arrived from a long trip and needed a room immediately, I was simply told there was nothing they could do. The only compensation offered was 10,000 Bonvoy points, which did not address the inconvenience my family experienced. I even requested to speak with a higher-level manager because it seemed the manager on duty had little authority to resolve the issue.
Surprisingly, about 30 minutes later, the hotel suddenly “found” another suite on a higher floor and moved us there. This raised an obvious question: if a suitable suite was available, why were we initially told that nothing could be done?
The entire situation reflected poor customer service, lack of professionalism, weak problem-solving, and a failure to prioritize guest satisfaction. This was particularly unacceptable considering I had booked a 5-night, 6-day stay and expected a much higher standard of service from a W Hotel.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself also appears dated and heavily worn. The property no longer feels fresh, modern, or aligned with the premium image that the W brand promotes.
Because of this experience, I can confidently say that I will not return to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone expecting luxury service or professional hospitality.
Very clean and organized. Staff was very helpful and kind.
Everything was great!
Everything
Nothing
The location was wonderful literally around the corner of the beginning of Times Square’s red stairs. The hotel was very clean, the staff was extremely professional and welcoming, the “Living Room” (aka the bar) was very warm, cozy and soothing. The hotel was very detailed oriented.
The drinks were well prepared and very tasty without the $20 per room credit it would have been a little pricey.
Staff was very nice and great location for midtown
They limit how low you can lower the a/c. It got hot at night and wasn't able to lower the temp
It was a great location .
NY prices .
Great location very friendly staff
I would’ve liked fresh coffee made downstairs early
Beautiful property, spacious rooms. Clean and more than enough amenities.
I wish the shades were a little more wide to blacken the room completely. But they still created a dark room. I just prefer black out.
