Cons:

Couldn’t order room service without going down to the restaurant. Defeats the point of room service. So I door dashed. They brought it to my room so kudos to DoorDash but not great service for Doubletree.

Poor facilities, excellent staff.

Staff were excellent. They were friendly, responsive and helpful.

Cons:

Room was on the 12th floor, but 3 of the 4 elevators were not working. Other patrons reported that this was typical of their other stays. The air conditioner did not cool the room, it made it humid, but not cool. The overhead vent in the bathroom dripped water continuously. The parking lot had a large number of parking spaces closed off so that parking was difficult without a long walk in very hot, humid conditions. The shower door leaked so badly that we needed to put extra towels on the floor and the carpet remained damp throughout our stay. I spoke with several other guests who had previous stays at this hotel and they said that the poor conditions (broken elevators, ineffective air conditioners, broken printers) were normal for this hotel. I only recommend this place for a one night, emergency stay.

I'd give it another chance....
Pros:

I loved how big it was. I appreciated the front desk being very attentive and kind. The cookies were to die for! Didn't get to visit the Embers lounge but hope too if/when we visit again.
Lots of shopping and food in the area. A quick 15 min drive into PA. Although, there is a $6 toll to enter.

Cons:

I didn't like that the toilet wasn't stable, upon getting up from the toilet, it made a loud clank! Was very disturbing during the night. Also, room was clean to my liking. Lots of dust everywhere. There were some tiny bits of paper by the bedside. It wasn't too alarming but I just wish a little bit more attention had been paid to the cleaning. I got to understand that there were 5 weddings this weekend so I guess, maybe that would explain the cleaners being a little less thorough.
I'd definitely give the hotel another chance.

It was a great stay and we felt very comfortable in our room!
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable! The room overall was very nice and we felt like all our needs were met!

Cons:

The only complaint I have is there was a used coffee pod in the coffee maker so I don’t think that was checked or cleaned before we arrived.

Titel: Reine Schikane und organisatorisches Chaos – Mein Tag wurde komplett ruiniert! (1/5 Sterne)Ich habe für einen Aufenthalt von drei Nächten zwei aufeinanderfolgende Buchungen für exakt denselben Zimmertyp getätigt. Was dann an der Rezeption passierte, spottet jeder Beschreibung von Kundenservice.Anstatt meinen Aufenthalt im System einfach zusammenzuführen, wurde mir an der Rezeption eiskalt gesagt, dass die Erklärung des Vorgangs für eine neue Kollegin „zu lange dauern würde“. Die Bequemlichkeit des Personals ging hier eindeutig vor das Wohl des Gastes.Die unverschämten Folgen für mich:Gäste als Packesel: Ich wurde gezwungen, komplett auszuchecken, all meine Koffer im 12. Stock zu packen, nach unten zu schleppen, um mich Stunden später für dieselbe Zimmerkategorie wieder neu anzustellen.Komplette Fehlplanung des Tages: Durch diese völlig unnötige, künstlich in die Länge gezogene Prozedur habe ich meine fest geplante Bahn verpasst! Mein gesamter Tagesablauf und alle meine Pläne waren im Eimer.Unterirdischer Service: Dass man zahlenden Gästen den Tag ruiniert, nur weil das Team unfähig oder zu faul ist, eine kurze Buchungsänderung im System vorzunehmen, ist eine absolute Frechheit.Dieses Hotel glänzt durch organisatorisches Versagen und Null Empathie für den Gast. Ich erwarte hierfür eine deutliche Entschuldigung und eine finanzielle Entschädigung für den ruinierten Tag!
