Glad only one night stay would not stay again

2 night midweek stay.
Pros:

Staff very friendly and attentive, hotel was clean and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy and the aircon was a godsend.

Overall really happy but couple.of niggles but thats what reviews are for right ? 😉

Cons:

Large bed was two singles bolted together however a noticeable gap formed between the bases overnight on both nights of our stay.

Sports bar staff were friendly but a couple of them we're working a slow pace, felt a bit like I was intruding on their time as they had other jobs to do rather than serve.

Food average for the price imo.

Overall, our stay was fantastic.
Pros:

Breakfast was great 👍 . The scenery of the environment was fabulous.

Cons:

Wardrobe facilities fell below standard. Too short and very tiny space!

Comfortable
Pros:

Clean, comfortable room. Very comfortable bed.

Cons:

It was difficult to locate the swimming pool, once we found some staff to ask they were helpful.. The steam room was not working on the second day of our stay. I think guests should be told on check in that it is family swim sessions on a Saturday morning until 10.30am.

Dirty room and leisure centre, overpriced and poor quality food and drinks. The usual things you expect are all charged
Pros:

The grounds are nice, good wine list, Sharon and Shannon provided good customer service

Cons:

Mouldy shower, overcooked steak, overpriced cocktails which were not made in house and just bought from a shop. Overcharged me for dinner, tried to charge me twice for breakfast, said they’d provide robes and slipper but I had to pay extra. Pool had mould and hair, sun loungers were stained, ceiling was peeling away. Flies in the restaurant landing on food.
