It was ok
Pros:

The property was clean, staff were professional and friendly, the breakfast was good. Grits should be offered some people as myself is allergic to oatmeal.

Cons:

I didn’t like the long hallways to the room. There is only one elevator on the fourth floor. That is extremely concerning. Even with the stairs. Being in law-enforcement. This is my biggest dealbreaker for not booking again.

Nice staff, needs some improvement in hotel ammenities.
Pros:

The staff was friendly and the suite was roomy.

Cons:

I did not like that there were no restrooms near the pool. We had to pick up all of our stuff just to walk to the nearest restroom so our things weren’t unattended. The breakfast buffet was ridiculously overcrowded and the hotel did nothing to accommodate that. It was very chaotic. Of our 7 days there, we only ate breakfast twice and it took more time out of our day than we hoped and the breakfast itself was subpar. The bath towels were very scratchy and rough. I really did not like that there was no warning we would be locked out of the hotel and the room at exactly 11. I walked up to our room to grab our last two things only to realize we were locked out and had to go back down to the front desk to extend our keys just to get a couple of remaining items.

Marriott could do better
Pros:

The location was decent, the size and comfort of the room was very adequate.

Cons:

The long breakfast lines where you feel treated like cattle. At times only 2 people working at the food station, frequently missing items, even paper plates. The Breakfast experience was the worst.
The pool was decent, but I'd expected to be larger for the amount of guests in the hotel.
The interior decor was awful, a dark gray color on long hallways which seems more like an institution of some sort as opposed to a hotel.
The parking is a rip off, 27 + tax per day. This should be included in the hotel fare. There is no need to rip people off like that.

Wonderful Vacation
Pros:

Amazing staff, and the location was perfect to get to everything we planned to visit.

Cons:

The fact that we had to pay for parking. Horrible. I'll go back to the vacation Marriott across the street because they have NEVER charged us for parking per night and threatened to tow your vehicle if not paid.

I enjoyed my stay and it was VERY central to everything I needed.
Pros:

I liked the room, it was excuse the pun "very roomy". The setup was nice. I also liked how the TV could turn and you could watch from the couch, kitchen table and\or the bed. The icemaker was a little loud but used to it. Otherwise, everything was nice.

Cons:

I DID NOT like the EXTREMLY L O N G Hallways getting to the room. You might want to let someone know about that and see if there are rooms a little closer to the elevators, especially for elderly people.
