Pros:

Location is great based on my needs. The hotel was recently renovated, a much needed improvement.

Cons:

Renovations are almost complete but I had to change rooms. Nothing in my room worked. Changing was a hassle.

Pros:

The room was spacious and looked like it had been updated recently. I looked the modern decor. Also, the staff were quite responsive when I needed something.

Cons:

There were a couple of things that could have been improved. Two issues that I encounter frequently (I travel quite a bit for work) are the room lighting and the iron/ironing board quality. The general lighting was very dim. I'm not sure if this is because the bulb wattage is too low or because of the placement of the lights. Second, the hotel irons are almost always such low quality that pressing my clothes is a problem. They often don't heat sufficiently, don't stay on long enough, don't have cords long enough to reach the available outlets, which means I often have to place the ironing board in a very inconvenient spot, and the steam function doesn't work very well. Additionally, the ironing boards are often fllimsy and insufficiently padded so that using them feels like I'm ironing on a metal grate. I would be wonderful for the hotel to stock some better quality irons/ironing boards that guests could request.
