Pros:

The location is absolutely perfect! The hotel is on a quiet street, close to a park, right in the city centre, with easy access to public transport and pretty much everything you might need.

The building itself is a beautiful, traditional Amsterdam house with lots of character. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was good overall. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Cons:

One thing to keep in mind is that the stairs are extremely steep. This wasn't a problem for me personally, but it's definitely something to consider when booking.

The rooms are also quite dated and could use some renovation. The walls are noticeably worn and scuffed, which takes away a bit from the overall experience.

Nothing too serious, but a little refurbishment would make a big difference.

Great value for money.
Pros:

The bed was very large and comfortable. The room was huge and had everything you would need. The balcony was small but nice for the fresh air. The location is near a tram stop that takes you direct to central and the hotel itself is on the doorstep of Vondelpark.

Cons:

Very minor but they didn't have coffee in the room, we had to go down to the reception in the morning to buy one, but it was a nice coffee.

Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber

Cons:

Das Bett passte gerade zwischen zwei Wände. Man musste ins Bett auf allen Vieren krabbeln, auch um das Fenster zu öffnen.

I felt safe, the room was comfortable.
Pros:

The location was good. Staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable & had an outside area.

Cons:

I was allocated a room on the 2nd floor, but due to the steep stairs & an ankle injury I had to pay 20 Euro for a ground floor room.

Hotel pratique pour un groupe, mais mérite un coup de neuf !
Pros:

Hotel très pratique pour un groupe, nous avions une chambre de 5 et une de 3. L'emplacement est plutôt bien situé, arrêt de tram pas très loin et possible d'aller dans le centre aussi a pied. Le personnel est très sympathique, l'extérieur est appréciable dans les chambres.

Cons:

La propreté de la chambre, et l'état général de la chambre et salle de bain. Pas de clim dans une des chambres. L'hôtel de manière générale (les couloirs) est dans un état moyen
