Groups: Bookings of 3 rooms or more will be classed as a group reservation and charged a 1 night plus tax as a deposit. A group cancellation policy of 30 days prior arrival will be applicable. Changes or cancelations will need to be made at least 30 days in advance or the 1 night deposit will be forfeited. There must be a name attached to each room.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Spacious, mostly comfortable base for exploring Banff
Pros:

Being a little way out from the centre was a good location for us. Either a short bus hop from outside the hotel or a pleasant 20 min walk to the centre. Very spacious with good facilities and helpful staff. Parking the car for free and using the free bus pass was ideal.

Cons:

Air con in the room was broken our first night and the windows didn’t open but looked out onto the internal swimming pool anyway. They tried to fix it that night and provided an additional fan and it was eventually fixed for our second night. No discount was offered by way of compensation for a very hot sticky night

Pros:

It is conveniently located with underground parking and the staff are pleasant

Cons:

The hotel generally is dated and the rooms have outdated decor .. looks well used . The mattresses & pillows are lumpy and very uncomfortable . Seems it caters to bus tours. We stayed as most hotels were booked when we realized we needed to spend a night in Banff. The summer prices are double their usual rate and definitely not what one would expect to pay for a hotel of this caliber.

Disappointed, was expecting better for this price range.
Pros:

-Room size was good to accommodate a family of 4 (2 kids).
-Location is kind of ok, however bit far from town centre, but you get free transit pass which makes it easy as bus leaves right in front.
-Parking was convenient and moving my luggage from parking to room was easy.
-Checking in and Check out was easy and smooth.

Cons:

-Room was very outdated with no view.
-I booked room category where in pictures you see a view, however they only had one room of the category I booked with view and we ended up getting a room with no view.
-No restaurant/bar in hotel, I was told it was closed years ago and had a ghost view of hotel bar area from reception desk close to elevators.

A good location, very comfortable bed, great bathtub!
Pros:

Loved the bathtub in the room and the location of the hotel. About 15 minutes walk into centre of town, but with restaurants around and easy pickup for any tours.

Cons:

It just felt a bit dark and gloomy. Would have loved a cafe/restaurant on site

Good location. Excellent staff. Everyone is very welcoming and shares good local tips which made our visit very meaningful. Thank you.

Cons:

The property is a bit run down with no restaurant in the lodge. No even drinking water provided. Literally, we booked the room, we only get the room.
