The space as well as the cleanliness were superior.
The watermark was an additional fee.
Views. Room size.
That the waterpark is advertised so much but not included, and that is not stated until check in. The check in parking is horrible! Not enough room!
Property was very nice.
They layout. And the beds weren’t that comfortable.

It was nice
That the waterpark is extra did not know when I booked or would have reconsidered - the balcony tables were dirty Also the waterpark would close open then the slides were closed we paid to have fun but constantly being told to comeback they will open back up etc… All the pools were crowded - Getting in and out of the resort is crazy work spent 20 minutes trying to get out to head to Gatlinburg
It’s beautiful, full of nature, the cabins go perfect with the nature surrounding the resort. The staff at the lobby were really nice. The restaurant was open from breakfast to dinner time so it was very convenient.
The hours of the bar located in one of the pools needs to be change, we got there at 6 and it was already closed so we couldn’t have drinks or food there.
The property was clean, and we had an amazing view. Some of the staff we encountered were very polite.
Check-in is a bit confusing as people already own these homes/rooms. So when using booking you’re actually renting from an owner. Check-in process wasn’t the great.
Parking spots near your room are very limited, we ended up parking at-least a mile away which isn’t very convenient.
Waterpark isn’t included which is very misleading.
The property is in a great location. The water “park” was enjoyed by my children. Most of the staff were very nice.
The issues started the first night we were there with a lot of millipedes in the bedroom, both bathrooms and the kitchen. The next day there were many more, we called for pest control to come. The gentleman was very nice, he was pleasant and worked diligently. He sprayed everywhere we were finding them and offered to come back if we found more. At the time we declined because we felt it was handled quickly and that the spraying would work. Additionally, someone forgot to turn a valve outside the unit off so we had water coming through the floor boards of the room. It wasn’t a significant amount, but we needed to put towels down. The maintenance crew turned the value off and by the time we left there was no more water coming through the floor. We never met them but they also responded quickly and brought us extra towels. The millipede issues continued. We’ve stayed at several other properties in mountainous areas and a few bugs are expected but this was continual to the point where everyone wore slides all the time in the unit and had them bedside during the night. On the last day there was one on the ceiling so my kids slept hoodies on that night. We had just stayed at another resort in the same Smokey mountain area the day before switching to the in hotel in a ground floor unit with no issues with no insects at all. We only switched for the amenities. Since pest control had no effect there was no point to have them come back and we were offered to switch room the day before we were leaving, we stayed in the unit as little as possible that day we we didn’t return until the late afternoon to pack. We left at 4am so we decided to just stick it out for a few more hours. Our stay was short otherwise we would have tried a room switch.
