Short walk to downtown
View from room. Homeless surrounding property. We almost had to pay for parking due to small full lots.
Amazing hotel. For me, traveling with my autistic son, sometimes it's challenging to get the support and accommodations needed. In this hotel EVERYONE from the manager (Mirna) to the front desk (Joey, Sara), the barman (delicious hamburger!), showed grace and kindness towards my son and myself. Even on the way out, Angela (housekeeping) saw me struggling with the child and the suitcases and kindly helped me roll them to the elevator. The hotel is also beautiful, very clean, and everything is modern and up to date. It is also very close to the 5th street mall, restaurants, and gift shops!
Even though the hotel is located within minutes to the starting points for tours and cruises, the mall, and other attractions, maybe because I was with my son, I did not feel very safe walking (not the hotel fault) However, for a very cheap Uber fare you could in no time get anywhere!
Ease to downtown and train station.
Our room card was only programmed for two nights and not three. Luckily, we got in from Seward just before 11pm and were able to sort it out. Staff friendly.
Well-maintained hotel close to downtown. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful by letting me store my luggage because I arrived early and do a late check-out the next day.
Breakfast was only okay.

The bath tub for the shower was extremely slippery. There were no safety grabs or anything to grab to prevent falling.
The advertising for breakfast was misleading in that one had to buy a $15 ticket to consume what was an offering similar to you would get at motel 6.
Upon checking the computer system and phone system were inoperative. We had to come back later to get a room. I would not stay there again.
Was located downtown, not near airport.
Not quite downtown enough. Except for museum, mostly near federal offices.

Static electricity build-up. I was getting shocked by everything. The absolute worst shocks.
Newly finished/ refurbished with lovely enthusiastic staff. Great to relax in a quiet quality place.
