Meliá Benidorm

Stayed as a couple for a week in June bed & breakfast.
Our room was on the 11th floor overlooking the pool with good views of Benidorm. High floor room recommended.
The room was clean, fresh towels every day, staff are friendly and any issue quickly sorted.
Breakfast was ok but dining room loud & busy. We went out for breakfast a couple of days.
Saw the ABBA & Michael Jackson tribute acts in the hotel which were very good.
Hotel is well situated near enough but far enough away for a peaceful sleep.
Corner Bar good for breakfast.
Killer Cow for steak & ribs
Los Ranchos for paella
Yes would stay again but probably room only

This hotel is huge, the pool is a 5 star pool, absolutely stunning with its lazy river however they don’t allow you to have inflatables in the pool even though they sell them in the hotel shop! The pool area doesn’t open till 9am and closes at 7pm. You can’t even sit in the gardens before 9. Really disappointing.
The rooms are more like a 3star hotel with a shower over a bath that spray everywhere if you’re not careful.
We had a broken chair on the small balcony that isn’t cleaned very well.
The staff and really friendly.
Would I come back to this hotel. No unfortunately. It’s not for me.

The staff was great, everyone was helping with our daughter and made her feel special. They were all kind towards us and helpful, reception and security were also helpful with handling the situation with the room next to us.

Food was diverse and good quality for the price, a bit too much brittish oriented imho but still fine. The croissants were not fresh all the times, but the warm corner was fresh.

The pools were nice and was comfortable having those downstairs.

The kids club was also nice idea to have, Pablo was very kind in engaging Miya to play although the activities was more for older kids. Could be nice idea to engage also the younger ones

We enjoyed the stay for sure, the room was cleaned every day and fresh towels.

Stayed here for May half term holidays for 3 nights with family of 5. I decided to upgrade to The Level Superior Room with Full Board. Good concept with exclusive access to VIP lounge and some deck chair seating outside. We got 2 rooms but on different floors and there were some issues with the room such as leaking radiator, toilet door not closing and damaged toilet seat. However, credit to The Level Ambassador who put these things right.

Location was good with about 20 minutes’ downhill walk to the beach and hotel has a good outdoor pool setup. Staff do work hard but unfortunately a few negatives and things to watch out for.

Whilst breakfast was great, lunch and dinner at the main restaurant was terrible. No soft drinks are provided with Full Board, which is weird considering the VIP lounge is next door to the main restaurant. No drinks can be taken out of the lounge to the restaurant which cheapens the lounge experience for me.

Another weird concept is no toilet lock in the rooms. Not very handy for privacy when staying with kids. The indoor pool is just one giant greenhouse. You must wear a swimming cap or purchase one. Towel deposits are required but okay with this concept. Perhaps should have been included within The Level concept.

Forget about the evening entertainment as nothing worth seeing during our stay.

I spent close to £1000 for the two Ultra Superior Rooms during May half term just to provide some financial context.

We had a fantastic stay at the Melia Hotel Benidorm and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially families.

One of the best decisions we made was upgrading to The Level. The extra benefits, exclusive areas, and overall enhanced experience made our holiday feel even more special and were definitely worth it.

A particular highlight of our stay was the Kids Club. The team there were absolutely amazing and made our son feel welcome, happy, and excited to attend every day. Their kindness, energy, and genuine care really stood out and gave us peace of mind knowing he was having such a great time.

We would especially like to thank Christina, Pablo, Anas, Marcus, and another young gentleman whose name unfortunately we can’t remember. They all went above and beyond to make our son’s holiday unforgettable. Their enthusiasm and dedication are a real credit to the hotel.

Thank you to everyone at Melia Benidorm for such a wonderful experience. We made some fantastic family memories and would not hesitate to return in the future.

The food was not good some evenings we just had salad not good the entrance to the hotel was very shabby with dead plants on view , it had a very distinct feeling of a hotel that prefers Spanish customers!

Etage 17 wunderschöne Ausblick

Enjoyed our stay in April 2025 for The Elvis Fiesta. Great location. Polite/helpful staff, nice room, comfortable beds but the wardrobes aren't suitable for dresses, not enough space for them to hang properly so they were partly hung out of the wardrobe, which meant having to leave the doors open clashing with the room door. We enjoyed most of the restaurant food except breakfast, which was quite bland in my opinion. Some updating is required i.e.. upper floor corridors outdated wood panelling that is warped/marked presumably by bathroom floods. Same applied to our bathroom door (room 802). Toilets on lower floor don't all lock. Twice I was walked in on.

I like that particular area. A few bars and within walking distance to the centre and beach.
