The best Resort in Sedona
Pros:

Check out the quality, location, and amenities of the best resort in Sedon - The Sedona Summit. It has excellent condo condition, superb pools and spas, and superb support staff. They are located a 2000 feet from some of the best walking, hiking, and mountain biking trails in Sedona.

We enloyed our stay and the hotel's limitations, did not deminish of experience.
Pros:

The location was adjacent to downtown and ideal for a visit to NAU and the Lowel Observatory. There are multiple restaurant options on foot or via a car/taxi. The plumbing, AC, and beds were fine. the breakfast was robust with excellent custom omelets. There was lots of free parking.

Cons:

Our room was "rough around the edges" and could use a remodel. The overall appearance of the hotel was warn, with wall paper peeling. The carpet in our room was damp and the room had a musty smell. The pool was not available and has not been for some time.

Hilton at the summit in Sedona
Pros:

It is a nice room and comfortable.

Cons:

Tried to hard to sell me on the timeshare to the point of annoying me. The room was very clean. There was a hole in the cabinet under the TV. No fan in the bathroom but the wiring was in the ceiling. The sink was clogged. The refrigerator was either too warm or freezing our food. There should have been 2 types of towels for both of us. Face, hand and shower.

Pros:

I love the size of the room, the location of the property, and the spa with the amazing views.

Cons:

The room was not ready when we entered. They needed to finish making the bed and we had to ask for soap and paper towels. In the morning I realized there was not an extra roll of toilet paper that was a problem. The handle to the screen door was broken and I could not get the dishwasher to work.

Nice place with beautiful scenery but timeshare heavy
Pros:

My family stayed here in June. We chose this property for the main pool, views and having a kitchen. Overall, the property was nice. We stayed on the sunset villas side. We faced the east. We stayed on the second floor which was nice to be off the ground from everyone walking by. We faced the parking lot and the main pool which was ok because we had a tree in front of us for some privacy and was high enough to see some rock views which was really nice. It was really hot in June so we spent a lot of our time in the main pool which was the nicest and had a cool water feature. It was nice to be so close. The checkin process was good and very courteous. They told us to wait to speak to someone else for a welcome gift. This was for them to sell on going to a time share meeting. We kindly declined as we were only there for a few days. Our room was spacious but had so many issues: Dishwasher was not bolted in and could not be used. They sent someone up to look at it who we later found out pushed the dishwasher in so much that when I emptied the sink from washing dishes, all of the water leaked all over the floor! They brought up towels and said they fixed the leek problem. This took several hours and was up late dealing with this. We were planning on going to bed early to get up at sunrise to hike before the heat was too much. They said someone would be there there the next morning to fix the dishwasher so it was usable. We left that morning to go hiking and wanted to put our items in the safe before maintenance came. The safe did not work. Once. we got back, we had to call to and took about 15+ minutes for someone to figure out if they actually fixed it (I could not tell because the originally area for the bolts were still exposed. The dishwasher was fixed and we were able to use it for the rest of our stay. A couple days later, I noticed that the fridge was dripping water on the top shelf. I wiped it off and later came back and the whole bottom of the fridge was covered with water. Luckily, I had extra towels from the sink leak that I placed a towel inside to soak it up. The only thing that the hotel offered was covering the resort fees for all of these issues and for the most part felt like we were bugging the employees. I would say that maybe half of the staff were very nice and the other half were angry that we were asking for help. We decided we wanted to look into doing a jeep tour. They had previously said that they offer discounts for local companies. We decided to go ask. DON'T. The cost is so high and they only offer a discount if you go to the timeshare presentation. What a scam. On the last day, I decided to check out in the lobby so I could tell them about all of the other issues with the room besides the dishwasher (also the toaster didn't work well either). I did not want the next guest to also have all of these issues with the place. The first employee we returned our rented games and movies to was very friendly. There was another man that looked like we was working on checking people out (online check-outs). I went up to him and said I wanted to check out, he looked at me with a disgusted look and asked me for my room number to write down on a post-it for later. I said never mind, I will have the other guy check me out as he came back to the front. He was very nice and wrote down the other issues that our room had. We had a nice time in Sedona and was so beautiful. However, due to all of the issues and the turned up noses by some of the staff, we will not chose this place to stay. We have stayed at other vacation clubs and were never treated this way or asked more than once about the timeshare. I would say think twice before staying here especially if you do not want to go to the timeshare presentation or want to be treated poorly.

Good location for all things Sedona.
Pros:

Privacy and location.

Cons:

I didnt' like being hit up for a "time share" sales pitch as soon as as I checked in, especially after being on the road all day.
