Book the premier inn instead
Pros:

Clean

Cons:

No running water! Don’t expect to flush the loo. We arrived to find that was an issue. Was fixed later in the day but unacceptable not to know before arrival. Staff acted as if “well it will be on later”

Not great and poor value
Pros:

The location is OK, reasonably easy to get around from. The room itself was OK, but quite small

Cons:

There was no hot water for our first night and the following day, and the cooked breakfast was served cold to lukewarm, and not great at all. As it seems with all hotels in Edinburgh the price is exorbitant and in this case really poor value

Overall the hotel was fine.
Pros:

The location of the property was great and the breakfast that was included was very good.

Cons:

The beds were not comfortable leaving me with a sore back. We did not have any hot water this morning for our showers and the toilet was extremely difficult to flush.

Extortionate price for mediocre hotel
Pros:

The location was great for what we booked it for

Cons:

It’s was very overpriced for what it was. Bedroom and bathroom extremely small and quite tired looking. A hole in the carpet and scuffed wallpaper isn’t what we expected to see when paying over £800 for two nights!
