Poor
Pros:

Have raised a complaint , only two pillows had yo ask repeatedly for more as my friend had surgery had to have more pillows standard for hotel .stained carpets , long check in ques ,and the var was closed and under construction not told before we arrived and was yhe only reason id booked it .

Cons:

Two pillows per person
Staff would have a can do attitude.
A bar that we could actually visit

Functional but nothing to write home about
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently located close to Manchester Oxford road train station.

Cons:

The hotel itself is not bad but the fee was too high for what was offered. Compared to other establishment in the same area that I have visited, it was lacking. The increased fee could have been due to low availability during the time of my visit but it was still not good value for money. Smaller comments: Even after registering to use the 'higher quality' free wifi the connection quality was not as expected; The online check in system was not consistently working or easy to use.

No attention to detail, very poor value for money.

lots of space in the room.

Cons:

Everything was just a bit poor. Room smells stale, carpets dirty bed and pillows uncomfortable, there was a weird noise coming from the walls like a constant hum-I turned the aircon off it wasnt that. Breakfast-cheapest ingredients. If I didnt pay 15% of my mortgage for a 4 bedroom house for a nights stay I would say fine, but having paid over a hundred pounds I am very dissapointed. And the weirdest thing: I have probably been in a 100 of British hotels over the years. Never have I been in a place that did not have a kettle and some tea in it. Even the cheapest room without any space for a kettle, they made it happen. Not here. Whilst I dont care, I thought it was a British thing and learned to expect it.

Pros:

Excellent location. Only 10 - 15 mins walk from Oxford Road Railway Station. I checked around 10 pm at night. A member of staff - sadly I can't remember her name - was very helpful she helped me fill in the check in form on line , and she also carried one of my bags for me as well ( I have a hernia ) , to the part of the hotel where my room was. Very helpful & friendly staff in general
