Excellent location and very clean.
Pros:

Excellent location getting to both the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. It was extremely clean throughout and well air conditioned. Most staff very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

We ordered a twin room and received a double room for the first two nights of our stay as they could not change it. At first reception staff on the evening seemed unfriendly but morning staff were very helpful. When we changed room the tv did not work and there was nothing they could do to fix it (couldn’t attach it to the network).

I will be thinking twice before I would book another hotel stay at hotel King.
Pros:

There was only one front desk, lady that was amazing.

Cons:

The room that was given to us had no air-conditioning. There was no ice in the facility. We had no fridge in our room that was given to us. The room location was very far.

No working Aircon
Cons:

No Aircon. The Aircon unit just blew warm air (acted like a fan). I reported this. The maintenance guy didnt speak any english but was basically saying it was fine. I messaged the property and got no response. I specifically booked a hotel that said it had AC as it was 37 degrees Celcius!

It was clean and the staff was polite, not enough

This was, without question, the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

From the moment we arrived, everything went wrong. The hotel’s front door was locked, and we were left waiting outside for 20–30 minutes before a member of staff finally arrived to let us in. We then had to wait another 20–30 minutes just to check in.

Finding our room was incredibly frustrating. The hotel is designed like a maze, with split levels and confusing corridors that make it unnecessarily difficult to navigate.

The room itself was spotlessly clean, but that was the only positive. It was extremely small, felt cold and sterile, and reminded us more of a hospital room than a hotel. There was barely enough space to move around comfortably.

If you are a smoker, avoid this hotel. The rooms have no balconies, and there are no convenient outdoor areas anywhere nearby. Every time we wanted a cigarette, we had to spend 6–7 minutes walking through the hotel’s endless corridors just to get outside.

The biggest disappointment was the air conditioning. In such a hot city, it is impossible to sleep without it, yet the unit is installed directly above the bed and blows freezing air straight onto your body all night. Instead of making the room comfortable, it made sleeping unpleasant and left us genuinely worried about waking up sick.
