Amazing hotel on the Arno with fantastic views of the Ponte Vecchio would highly recommend!

Our second visit to Berchielli, fantastic location, amazing staff, wonderful breakfast and exceptionally clean, we love it, perfect place to stay in Florence!

Location was good. The breakfast was good great selection. Nice lobby to relax

Cons:

Checking out we were informed the tourist tax was €14.50 for one night, i was then presented with a had held type machine and was told to quickly choose a number stupidly I did 15 please bear in mind I had no idea or explation his actions. Checking my bank all I see is tourist tax €29.
I was scammed out of €15. Also the male receptionist quickly took all receipts I got no receipts for tourist tax or unknown other charges
I am not impressed

Excellent emplacement.
Le personnel, plutôt expérimenté, était d'une attention remarquable — on sentait un vrai savoir-faire, comme dans les hôtels d'autrefois où le service était un art.
La décoration a un charme un peu rétro, qui donne à l'établissement un cachet authentique, loin des hôtels standardisés d'aujourd'hui.
Salle de bain bien équipée spacieuse.

Cons:

Le bruit de la climatisation ainsi que le grincement gênant de la porte de la salle de bain
Lit un peu affaissé.

Most enjoyable, the hotel added to this joy
Pros:

The location being a block off of the Ponte Vecchio Bridge is just spectacular, the breakfast was as good as at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room was small but very well appointed very nice bathroom. There was a roof garden on the fourth floor that was so nice to sit out at in the evenings. The staff in the breakfast room and at the registration counter were most helpful and very pleasant.

Cons:

My room had a twin bed, but I knew that before I got there. It was very hot in Florence, almost triple digit, and the room air conditioner was just adequate. The bathroom had an odor.

Highest regards
Pros:

Our 2nd time staying at this fabulous hotel. The location cannot be beat. It is close by to everything in Florence. The view out of our window of the Ponta Vechio is something that you could only get from this hotel. We could never stay anywhere else. It will always be our home in Florence.
