Pros:

We had a fantastic time in Rome. Hotel Memphis is great. Lovely staff, great breakfast. Location is everything. Our stay was wonderful.

Everything is small
Pros:

The location. That's about it.

Cons:

Everything is small at that hotel. Rooms (much smaller than it appears in photos, shower, breakfast room. No choices for breakfast, boring limited breakfast. Several things broken or didn't work in the room- toilet flush, towel heater, one bedside lamp. Asked for the bulb change, twice! All I got was: tomorrow. NOT 4 star.

Great location for a Rome city break
Pros:

We stayed here for a couple of nights for a trip to Rome and would recommend. The location is excellent being a 5-10min walk from the Trevi Fountain and also Barberini Metro Station. Rooms and linen were clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was nothing fancy but suited us perfectly. No noise issues, we would stay here again.

The staff of the Memphis was helpful and friendly. I would recommend the hotel based on the location and the staff.

The property was in a great location.

Cons:

My first night I was given an inside room, no windows. The second day I was moved to a room with a window facing the front of the hotel. The hotel is located on a narrow street with very little natural light reaching the first floor. While this may not bother most, the lack of natural light made the room feel claustrophobic.

Pros:

morgenmaden var udmærket Værelset godt med dejligt badeværelse med rent linned.
Sengene var dejlige med gode madrasser.
Et hotel meget centralt i Rom
Pæn dejlig rengøring

Great apart from 1 person
Pros:

The hotel was great, the rooms were great too just the right size for what we needed. Very clean cannot complain about the cleanliness. Spot on!
Very good location 5 min walk to trevi fountain. Reception staff were very friendly.
We stayed for 3 night but only had breakfast on 1 of the days because of the tours we were going on.
The lady in the dining area is our only complaint. That's why I have gave it a 4.
She was rather rude and kept staring at us the whole time. We felt very uncomfortable and had to leave our breakfast and walk out. Made us frustrated and anxious because we dont know why she was constantly staring at us.
The cleaners were super friendly. Would stay here again but wouldn't have breakfast as I wouldn't want to feel like that again.

Adequate Hotel
Pros:

Had three nights in this hotel prior to taking a cruise from civitavecchia. The hotel is indeed, very close to most of the attractions in Rome. Five minutes to Trevi Fountain, ten minutes to Spanish Steps and near 30 minutes to the Colloseum. Plenty of eating places nearby with a very pleasant little bar/restaurant at the corner. The room was adequate but deco a bit tired. Did not find the staff particularly welcoming, unlike those mentioned in some reviews.
