Excellent Hotel
Pros:

My daughter and I stayed 4 nights at Hotel Canada. If we ever go back to Milan, I would definitely stay there again.
The hotel staff is soooooo welcoming and they go above and beyond to help. We arrived very early and the wonderful man at the front desk managed to arrange breakfast for us. It was a welcome reception after a sleepless night of travel. We stored our bags after changing into shorts, went for a walk. The front desk called me about and hour or so later to let me know our room was ready.
Our room was so comfortable, and clean. The staff went out of their way to help us with viewing Netflix on the TV since we don't speak Italian. It's got great air-conditioning, which is vital when it's so hot out. And there are sockets, and lights. Quite the rarity in hotel rooms.
The breakfast was tasty, with many options, including alternative milk and lactose free yoghurts, great coffee and very friendly people.
The lobby offers coffee and tea, and a lovely sitting area.
The location is perfect. A 3 minute walk from the metro station, a 10 minute stroll to the Duomo and the center of the city. There are restaurants within minutes, supermarkets maybe 50 meters away.
So if it wasn't clear from above, Hotel Canada is an excellent hotel, with an amazing staff, every shift, all such great people. It has all you need and then some.

Cons:

The shower stall was a tad small but otherwise all was great. Seriously, a great great hotel.

Pros:

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Great location just few minutes walk from the Duomo. The rooms are spacious and very modern. A special thank you to the hostess on the evening/night shift, who was always going the extra mile to help us with everything we needed. Her kindness and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Overall a convenient stay, but the smelly blanket is dragging the score.
Pros:

Spaciousness of the room, breakfast includes simple but hot food. The hotel is also closely located to a metro station.

Cons:

We had a smelly blanket for a night. We asked to exchange it, but was told they only had one (out of the whole hotel).
