Location is everything! The lift is cosy but serviceable. Breakfast is beautiful and staff terrific.
Pros:

Hotel Pendini was brilliant! The location is A1!!. Close to everything and you can easily walk from the train station. The breakfast was beautiful and the hotel itself transcends you back to its historical best.
The staff were on point and met all of our needs.
If I travel back to Florence we will simply book it again.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little cosy but still neat, clean and all that we needed.

Fantastic experience.
Pros:

The location of this hotel was excellent, very close and walkable to everywhere. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff very always going above and beyonsd. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Florence.

Cons:

Not one single thing comes to mind, it was all fantastic.

Pros:

Breakfast was the best part of our stay. I enjoyed that the room was very "homey", but could use a little refreshing. Conveniently located.

Cons:

The woman at the reception area is not friendly or welcoming. I believe the only time she was somewhat pleasant was when we checked out and paid the invoice.

The staff and accommodations were above our expectations and we would definitely recommend it, especially for a family.
Pros:

The proximity to so many places that we planned to visit - and close to the train station. Even in the heat, we were able to walk almost everywhere. Being so close to the piazza and carousel made it even more magical!

Cons:

We got stuck in the elevator once and that was scary and we had no washcloths, which we are used to having for the shower.

A cool, clean haven from the heat and bustle of a busy summer in Florence.
Pros:

Our one-night stay at Hotel Pendini was the perfect way to end our holiday. We were a party of eight — two families staying across two family rooms — and everything about our stay was wonderful.

The rooms were cool, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. We had a lovely view over the piazza, which meant we could enjoy the atmosphere and listen to the buzz of the city below. The lady who welcomed us at reception was a particularly calm and reassuring presence — a lovely contrast to the heat and bustle outside. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, especially the lady who made us cappuccinos decorated with little chocolate smiley faces. Such a thoughtful touch!

We also loved the photographs displayed along the route to the communal seating area. They offered a fascinating glimpse into the history of the hotel and gave the whole place a real sense of character.

The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Florence and within easy reach of all the major sights. We arrived with a large car, which was taken away and parked for us, then brought back at exactly the right time for our departure. This made leaving for the airport so much easier and far less stressful than it could have been.

Hotel Pendini was a real highlight of our stay, and I would happily visit again. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Coffee and tea facilities in our rooms would have been nice, but we were able to get some from reception - plus biscuits!
