Disappointing stay, not worth the price
Pros:

Spacious and clean room. Great view over Piazza Della Republicca. Central location. Antique furniture gave character.

Cons:

We booked a Deluxe Double Room for the final few nights of our European holiday. We were especially excited to stay in Florence and celebrate our engagement, so unfortunately this stay was a pretty big letdown.

If you value a peaceful night’s sleep, do not book this room. The piazza next to the hotel has ‘Caffè Concerto’, which hosts live music every night until around 1am. The noise is incredibly loud and makes it very difficult to fall asleep. Paying a premium for a room where you have to compete with a live concert until 1am is not exactly the luxury experience we had in mind.

And just when the music finally stops, the breakfast room upstairs starts its morning shift. Our room was directly underneath the breakfast room, and the soundproofing is basically non-existent. Every bit of movement upstairs could be heard from our room downstairs, chairs being moved, footsteps, furniture being shifted, and pretty much anything else happening up there. At around 6:30am, staff began setting up breakfast, which meant an early-morning symphony of chairs scraping, footsteps and our chandelier rattling.

The breakfast room itself is far too small for the number of guests. When it fills up, you have to line up and wait for a table. The Wi-Fi was also terrible, painfully slow and hardly what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point.

The positives are the clean, spacious room, the character of the antique furnishings and the excellent location/view. But unfortunately, those things don’t make up for the noise, lack of sleep, cramped breakfast setup and awful Wi-Fi.

Overall, not worth the price. Florence was beautiful, our engagement was worth celebrating, but this hotel certainly didn’t help us get much sleep while doing it. At this price point, we expected a lot more, preferably a room where the entertainment ends before bedtime and the breakfast room doesn’t double as an alarm clock.

Lovely friendly central hotel.
Pros:

Lovely calm friendly hotel in a perfect location. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice of food. Surrounding public rooms were very well planned, comfortable and roomy. Bedroom was thoughtfully decorated with good air conditioning and a lovely powerful shower.

Cons:

As a 3 star hotel I don't think they could have done anything any better.

Pros:

A localização é imbatível. O hotel era super charmoso, cheio de história. Os quartos são confortáveis, com boa cama e almofadas. O ar condicionado funciona muito bem e de forma silenciosa. O pessoal é muito simpático e prestável. Acho que a melhor crítica que posso fazer é dizer que voltaria a ficar neste hotel.

Cons:

Tudo era ótimo. Como é muito central, ouve-se algum ruído da rua, mas nada extraordinário.

Zentrale Lage ist top. Fußläufig alles erreichbar.
Sehr gute Klimatisierung der Räume bei 41°C Außentemperatur.
Frühstücksbuffet reichlich für einen guten Start in den Tag

Cons:

Öffentlicher Zugang in das Haus - Rezeption ist im 4. Stock.
Aber hat der Sicherheitgefühl jetzt keinen Abbruch getan.
Etwas mehr Informtionen wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, dass man in die ZTL zufahren darf und sich das Hotel um die Berechtigung kümmert.

An amazing experience, staff were lovely and breakfast excellent.
Pros:

Fabulous central location, the feeling of luxury and style. As a solo, older traveller, I was made to feel safe and welcome.

Séjour génial au cœur de Florence
Pros:

La proximité immédiate avec la place centrale est vraiment très très sympa. Le parking souterrain par un voiturier. Le prix est de 37 Euro mais la voiture est en sécurité. Le confort de la literie ainsi que la climatisation sont des éléments clés de cet hôtel.

Cons:

La salle du petit-déjeuner est malheureusement très petite.

I LOVED IT!
Pros:

I absolutely loved the location—OMG, it was perfect! It was close to everything, making it so convenient to explore the area. The hotel was very clean, with a spacious bathroom and a luxurious breakfast that deserves an A++++++.

I especially loved the beautiful Gustav Klimt-inspired artwork in the bathroom and the charming old-style phone, which added a unique and elegant touch. My room also had a lovely view, and from the window I could see the side of a fantastic restaurant with live music playing until 1 a.m. We actually stayed there until the end of the evening,BOTH DAYS, and my teenagers could even see us from the window. It was such a fun and memorable experience. It was near the station we left to Naples. Make sure to check what station works better for you- my first one was far, And the taxi at the city bill you more because you are in the center. The guy pressed a bottom and the value almost doubled. Be aware!

Cons:

Honestly, it was fine to stay for the couple of days we stayed there. The elevators were very small, but they have 2. Other places we stayed, small and only 1. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Our spacious room featured stunning ceiling paintings and a super comfortable bed. The historic building itself is beautifully decorated throughout, and the location couldn't be better. Breakfast was top-tier, and the reception staff went above and beyond—even sending us off with a bag of candy at checkout! It truly has everything you could ask for.
