The hôtel was clean and everything well organized. Sarah at the reception made our stay truly special. She was smiling, incredibly welcoming, and provided outstanding customer service.
We absolutely loved our stay at Ville sull'Arno. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome and were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful river-view room.
Every member of staff was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The facilities were excellent, and we made the most of the spa every day – it was the perfect place to relax after exploring Florence.
We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was outstanding, with attentive service to match. Breakfast was also fantastic, with a huge selection available. As I'm gluten-free, I was especially impressed by the variety of options on offer.
The complimentary shuttle service into Florence was a great addition and made getting into the city very convenient.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ville sull'Arno. We'd happily stay here again.
The location is my only complaint here because it was not close to the dome or any of the tourist attractions. It was kind of a stand-alone on the river. Besides that, the place was beautiful and charming. I loved the floral theme throughout and the friendly and helpful staff. The outdoor pool was lovely and refreshing. It was nice to be a little away from the hustle and fray.

The “fitness center.” Teeny room with 1 treadmill (needs to be upgraded), 1 elliptical, and some weights. Very limited space to do weights. Room was kept at 24.7 Celsius and staff said it couldn’t go lower.

Rummet var väldigt litet. Man kunde nätt och jämt gå runt sängen, som upptog hela rummet.
Free air conditioned shuttle bus to and from the centre of Florence, availability of bikes and WhatsApp service by Reception who booked taxis and restaurants for us.
Location! On main very busy road one side and opposite extensive building works on the river which weren’t shown in the hotel gallery of images. Although staff were extremely helpful (Reception, bar and cleaning), we felt it odd that no one mentioned a major public holiday that led to 1000s of people on the river on Weds night watching fireworks and a frightening crush of crowds being pushed through major road works on the river front as we walked back to the hotel later in the evening. Better advice would have been welcomed. There were also no bike helmets to hire - whilst there are cycle paths, the majority are being replaced as part of a major city infrastructure upgrade so not easy to follow. In many cases, we were channelled on to main roads where drivers were erratic.
