Mooi en schoon. Heerlijke plek.

Cons:

We hadden duidelijk aangegeven dat we net getrouwd waren die dag, helaas werd er niet even gefeliciteerd of dat vermeldt. Dat was jammer en wel netjes geweest. Maar het hotel zelf was prachtig en een zekere aanrader!

Was ok for the dolar.

Locaiton is goo din the park.

Cons:

Check in time was not met by the hotel, had us waiting exta hour at the entrance. But when it came to ask for a late check out it was a striict NO. So makes you think this street only works one way to the benefir of the hotel.

Room was not clean enough, and when asked for a room cleaining on the third day, it was not clenaed at all and no linens or towels were changed, this was quite dissappointing. Also the cafe personnel especially young ones were reluctant to respond to costumers.

Es war überwältigendes Ambiente und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Pros:

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück hat eine sehr große Auwahl und war sehr ansprechend zubereitet und hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Es war super, dass man vor Ort Fahrräder leihen konnte. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Perfect hotel for a perfect stay in amsterdam
Pros:

Still reasonably close to centre
Coffee pod making facilities in room

VERY DISAPPOINTING AND UNSAFE EXPERIENCE!
Pros:

The breakfast is quite good, although it mainly consists of commercial products.

Cons:

The hotel is located in a park where we saw many drug users and homeless people, and in our experience the surrounding area felt very unsafe, especially when walking around near the hotel. We also did not see any security staff monitoring the hotel or its immediate surroundings.
The hotel itself is old and very dusty. The window in our room was stuck and could not be opened. When we entered the room, we found a wrapper from a dessert that had clearly been left behind by previous guests, which suggests that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned.

During breakfast inside the hotel, our bag was stolen directly from our baby’s stroller while we were sitting right next to it. The theft was captured by the hotel’s security cameras.
The bag contained personal belongings, important documents and our room keys. Travelling with a baby under four months old, we were extremely frightened knowing that the person who stole the bag also had access to our room keys.
What was most disappointing was the receptionists’ behaviour. At first, the staff did not seem to believe us. Even after the theft was confirmed on camera, we received very little support.
We were not offered a different room, despite the stolen room keys, and no meaningful practical assistance was provided. We had to travel about 30 minutes in the rain with our baby to deal with the situation to the police station, without even being offered an umbrella or basic help.
We were also charged for breakfast for our baby, who was under four months old and obviously did not eat breakfast.
Overall, we felt unsafe, unsupported and abandoned. Based on our experience, we would not stay at Hotel Arena again and would not recommend it, especially to families with babies or young children.

Pros:

Die Lage ist hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Der Schmutz am Bett ist während des gesamten Aufenthaltes nicht entfernt worden. Der Schrank bietet zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Kleinere Personen müssen ihre Unterwäsche etc auf Schreibtisch und TV Tisch verteilen. Das macht den Raum ungemütlich.
