Gutes Hotel für Ausflüge in die Innenstadt von Reykjavik
Pros:

Die Begrüßung im Hotel war freundlich und zuvorkommen. Die betrifft auch alle anderen Mitarbeiter, welche wir kennengelernt haben. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Betten waren richtig bequem und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Das Hotel W-Lan war kostenlos und von guter Qualität. Das Frühstücksbuffet war klein, aber es hat an nichts gefehlt. Empfehlen können wir auch die verschiedenen, frisch gebackenen, Brotsorten. Hinter dem Hotel befinden sich Parkplätze, so dass die Anreise mit einem PKW kein Problem darstellt. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut für Ausflüge in die Innenstadt. Der Shuttle - Service für den Flughafen-Bus befindet sich 50 Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Die große Einkaufstrasse in die City beginnt in 100 Metern vom Hotel aus. Gern werden wir das Fosshotel Lind wieder besuchen.

Cons:

Das Bad war sehr klein mit wenig Ablageflächen. Die Dusche war ebenerdig und mit einem Duschvorhang ausgestattet. Für eine Duschkabine wäre kein Platz mehr gewesen. Das Warmwasser kam aus einer unterirdischen Quelle und riecht etwas nach Schwefel. Das sollte man wissen. Uns hat es aber nicht gestört.

Basic room with very small shower room. All very clean though.
Very frienfly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Poor wifi in the room at the end of the corridor. Got a more central located room right away 😀..

Pros:

We were there in June for a 4 day holiday and we were not disappointed, the hotel was clean the room was basic but very clean, the cold water was lovely to drink, but only wash in the hot water, we had a buffet breakfast at the hotel which was very nice and plenty of choice, the staff are very nice and helpful

Good locqtion. Close enough to Laugavegur but without the noise. Breakfast is always good.

Location was good, walkable to the many places in town. Free parking on their premises. Blackout curtains were great.

Cons:

The shower was impossibly small. We could not close the shower compartment doors when we showered, and we are thin folks.

An amazing place to stay
Pros:

I can't say enough about the decision of our travel agent, putting us in Fosshotel Lind. The hotel was very clean, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was incredible, the lounge area was fun to hang out in, the beds were very comfortable. and then there is the location. Practically next-door was an amazing restaurant, Reykjavík Kitchen. And at the end of that block is a fun street to explore. Starting with a small food court and great food choices. Then go up the street and find shopping, bars, entertainment and more restaurants. And even though bus stops are so convenient to our hotel, it was easy walking to the tourist section of Reykjavik. Even walking to the bus station with our suitcases was easy. I have suggested Fosshotel Lind to several friends who plan to go to Iceland in the near future and I would definitely consider staying there again.
