Below OK but I also didn’t book with high expectations. Just needed a room for a soccer tournament weekend
Pros:

The room was out dated and old. Our lamp was broken when we checked in, however the front desk replaced it with a new lamp.
The hair dryer didn’t work when we turned it on it smelled like fire smoke.

The room door didn’t close completely even though it latched and caught the top 1/3 of the door didn’t close completely. I used the ironing board to secure the latch in place at night.

The refrigerator stopped working and all of our cold items went bad and spoiled. They didn’t replace the fridge.

The blanket on on bed had cigarette holes burnt into it.

Bathroom was updated and clean. The tv worked well and if you wanted to sign into your streaming services you could.

We were there for 2 nights for a Soccer Tournament at River city park it was VERY convenient getting to and from the field. There were plenty of restaurants and stores around and only a 25min drive to the “downtown” Richmond area.

Our stay was pleasant.
Pros:

We thought our room was very nice. TV was large and very clear. The fridge was beyond cool. When I asked for more towels they were very accommodating.

Cons:

The door had to be pulled shut. The tub had a v shape in the bottom and for an older couple like we were. You felt like you needed to hold on to something or you felt like you were falling. There weren’t any brochures about Richmond area attractions, restaurants in the area, or places for shopping.

Could have been better but overall a good stay
