Great place to stay!
Pros:

The price and location is why I chose this motel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. This is our motel of choice whenever we return to Galveston for a trip or vacation.

Cons:

The only thing I can say is I wish there would have been a table or bench to put our luggage on. There was room for one beside the refrigerator and under the TV.

Poor treatment and an occupied room
Pros:

The manager, Taylor, was friendly over the phone, and my payment was refunded.

Cons:

I was given keys to a room occupied by another guest, and the receptionist shouted at my son and me and expected me to resolve the situation myself. I ended up without accommodation because the only replacement offered had one bed instead of the two I had booked. The manager wasn't there, and the receptionist did nothing to contact her; she told me to call 911.

Very poor experience never again will use this facility

The late night receptionist was phenomenal.She was absolutely amazing.very helpful.

Cons:

That I paid over $200 for my stay and the room had roaches.there was a major soft spot at the end of the bed.being upstairs that was alarming.when I said something to the manager,the blonde,all she could say is yeah we had the exterminator or already we will have to get them back here.not a I’m sorry no compensation no nothing.I was literally in the room the first day for 4 hrs and within the hrs I was in there I had a roach crawling on me laying down n the bed,went to the restroom and one was literally watching me then one out from behind the dresser onto the top of the dresser.The door wouldn’t close all the way had to push the door extremely hard to get it to latch.The key card wouldn’t work half the time.Never again will I ever use this super 8.I will not recommend it to anyone not worth the price.They are robbing tourists for sure.They don’t rent to locals is what was stated.Stay away from this place.keep your money will be VERY DISAPPOINTED
