no microwave in room
Front desk was grest
The pool was nice. The room was very big.
Check in was at 4pm and our rooms were over an hour late getting cleaned. This force us to have to chance our plans for the evening.
There was a loud noise that went on all night. It seemed like it was below us, you could hear it throughout our whole room and our family members in other rooms also heard it. For over $300 a night it seemed a expensive for having these issues.
Rooms were nicely decorated and clean and comfortable.
This is an old building and not insulated well. You could hear everything from other guests and rooms, from the a/c units to people talking and moving around to the outside and parking lot noise. This was the loudest place I’ve ever tried to sleep. Also the pool was closed and that was disappointing. My family was really looking forward to some time in the pool to relax in the evening.
La chambre est spacieuse et agréable. Les produits sentent super bon
Le petit dejeuner qui est trop léger. L’absence de laundry
The hotel had great views of the surrounding mountains, which was the highlight of our stay and lots of car parking space.
The hotel did not reflect the photos online, and the room was very basic and not particularly clean. The shower only produced luke warm water, and the only tap in the room was almost unusable, spraying a very fine, high-pressure jet of water that made even washing your hands difficult without getting soaked.
Although we received an email at 2:30 pm saying our room was ready, we arrived at 4:00 pm only to find it was still being cleaned, leaving us waiting outside while housekeeping finished. We were also disappointed by the condition of the pool, which looked dirty and very uninviting.
Overall, this hotel charges premium prices but delivers a budget-standard experience. We expected much better for the cost.
Location. Short walking distance from a bunch of places to eat, shop, and walk and view the beautiful mountains and wildlife. The king-sized bed was very comfy and I loved how full and large the four pillows were.
After a long day of traveling, I arrived at The Outpost Rocky Mountains at 9 p.m. It was news to me that the front desk closes at 8 p.m. (?????). There was a sign on the door to go to a different location to pick up my room key. That actually pissed me off. All I wanted was a hot shower and a comfy bed. I also did not rent a car, so I had to request ANOTHER Lyft after I had just spent an hour in the car. Luckily, the place to pick up the key was two minutes away, but still...
Also there was a used razor in the shower and hair on the shower walls as soon as I entered the bathroom. There was only one trash can and it was so tiny. I left trash that did not fit in that tiny trash can in bags near the trash. I hope they don't charge me extra for leaving trash out.
ALSO kinda confusing to find rooms. The first room on the right of the front office is 210 and the first room on the left is 204. There should be a map or guide or something.
Located in such a great area, not far from downtown Estes Park but just far enough to be away from the busy tourist town. Free Bike rentals with my reservation and beautiful rooms.
TV wifi was not yet set up so we could not stream our shows, and there was no microwave in our room. These are by no means deal breakers though.
Overall good area to stay in.
I booked this hotel because I wanted to give it a chance despite all the reviews but it was not what I expected or hoping for. You have to go to other location to use the pool, bonfire area, restaurant. The bed had regular sheets instead of fitted sheets so it was uncomfortable to sleep on. They barely have any free breakfast options.
Cleanliness of property.
Parking was a little hard to come by
The staff was excellent. I left my iPad in the room after checking out and driving to the airport. Within an hour I received a call from Nicki at the front desk letting me know I left it and how it can be returned through a special service.
I appreciate that the housekeeper turned in my lost item and the assistance from the front desk. Very professional and honest.
beds so so
Didn't have a car so had to rely on the shuttle.
Breakfast was suppose to be open at 7, at 7:30 it still was not open
Updated old school feel. Fine for the cost.
