Hotel Florence Nice

Exceptional service, clean and cute rooms with a great view, amazing location and delicious breakfast. Loved the lounge area with the coffee making facilites.

Hotel Florence is an ideal hotel for your stay in Nice. It’s a lovely boutique hotel just off one of the main city centre avenues with easy access to the airport with the tram. The hotel is so central that you can get to the sea with a pleasant 10 minute stroll through the town so it doesn’t feel like a chore (but you can get the tram if you’d like).

The hotel is very nicely designed and has a very elegant and modern feel. The staff are all so friendly and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant stay with the very lovely hospitality we received from all staff at the hotel.

Our trip to Nice was to celebrate a birthday and the hotel recognised this in my booking and made it extra special for the birthday guest and had her bed decorated with balloons, petals, a tote bag, a wooden fan and tour guide booklets. The hotel accomodated a few requests we had to the best of their availability for our dates and it was very much appreciated.

There are many staff members that we encountered and all the encounters were always so positive. We didn’t catch everyone’s names, but we did have some conversations with staff members Marine at breakfast and Yoana at the reception, and also the general manager Liliya. Everyone was so lovely. You could see how hard the breakfast team work preparing everything and how helpful the receptionists were with any questions or advice during the stay.

On arrival we were offered the opportunity to select a different pillow to the standard pillows in the hotel rooms. This was a very nice touch and made our sleeps more comfortable getting to pick a very specific type of pillow each for the stay.

The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and new cakes and quiches were baked daily. The hotel also has a coffee machine to make a complimentary hot drink all day long which was a bonus.

Hotel was very easy to find thanks to the directions sent to me by the hotel. The directions told us which tramway to take from the airport and which stop to get off at.
They also offered to book a taxi for us if we prefered.

We found our hotel easily and it is located on a very quiet, traffic free street just of Rue Jean Medecin.
Check in was straight forward, however, there was a slight issue with our room as we had ask for a twin room, but it was set up as a double. Once i informed reception we were told that it would be sorted out. My friend and i left our bags and headed out for something to eat and when we returned the room had been reset as a twin room. They had also given us and extra chair in the room which was very useful.
The room had a fridge, plenty of wardrobe space, the ensuite had a great shower and was spaceous enough. There was also a coffee machine with some coffee pods, a kettle, mugs, instant coffee sachets and some tea bags.

The beds were very comfortable and after a goods nights sleep we came down to the first floor for breakfast the following morning.
The breakfast room was bright and airy. There were yoghurts, fruit, muesli, a selection of cold meats, cheeses, sliced tomatoes & cucumbers, boiled eggs, crusty breads, croissants, and other small breads. There was also fruit juice, coffee and hot water from the machine.
We really liked breakfast and felt that there was plenty of choice which would suit most tastes.

The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful from the reception staff to the staff at breakast and the cleaning staff, everyone was great.
