First week in May was a perfect time for a couple’s getaway! Jake was super nice and helpful when we needed to find a restaurant open during the off season. The bed was comfortable, views were nice, and we consider coming back for ski season. Washer/dryer in the room a plus if skiing!
We loved the Inn at Lost Creek as soon as we checked in, but after I took a fall on the mountain the entire staff including Lauren, Laura, Eric, Angie and Edgar went out of their way to make me comfortable. Constant ice packs to the room, procuring a wheel chair so that I could still attend a wedding on the mountain and overall care that felt more like family than paid staff. Less than a week later xrays showed fx's that needle surgical repair, but the entire staff at the Inn at Lost Creek helped me attend a wedding and keep the swelling down in my knee up to the time of surgery. I am grateful and can't wait to get back next season!
We stayed in Kayenta 4, a condo adjacent to and managed by the Inn. We have stayed in other Kayenta condos. This one has two benefits: its own hot tub, which is more convenient than the communal one for the Kayenta condos, and its ground floor location, making it truly ski-in/out in a normal snow year. The condo is very much in need of a renovation, but for a week it was totally fine, especially at the price. The hotel staff were super helpful with everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the cookies in the lobby every afternoon!
The entire staff from the front desk to the cleaning crew was fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and attentive, it's like coming home to family. The hotel is centrally located and is convenient to both slopes, plaza and gondola.
Great facilities, easy access to ski terrain, great breakfast, clean ans spacious rooms, cookies served in the lobby, great views, warm and friendly staff. Although the facilities are fantastic, what makes this hotel shine is the staff, from the reception (every one of the women at the reception are incredibly helpful), Eric managing the luggage and anything else that's needed, Jan at breakfast, and of course ski valets extraordinaire: Luke and Carmine. Of course all managed by the vigilant kind eyes of Laura Aleman. This is our fifth stay and we always leave longing to come back. Thanks!
Our stay at the inn was amazing! The room was so clean and beautiful & the service was amazing!!! Special thanks to Edgar and Lauren at the front for taking such good care of us! Can’t wait for the next stay.
Convenient to everything. Easy to get to the gondola, ski valet had our skis ready to go every morning, breakfast at the restaurant on the first level everyday and staff were great. Comfortable bed.
I really think our unit is tired. Furnishings are old and beat up. Drawers fall out when you open the dressers. Cabinets looked beat up and very old. Fridge too small. Also the snow cats gets started very early and sometimes after midnight so they woke us up several nights.
The Inn is not for everyone. If you prefer modern decor and a bit of a "scene" in public spaces - you have plenty of other options.
The Inn is small, quiet, has classic ski lodge decor that some may consider a bit dated, but the condos are hospital clean and very well stocked. Understated luxury is a good descriptor of The Inn, it quietly has everything you need for a very, very nice ski trip.
After 5 trips over the last 8 seasons, my family and friends see the same fantastic management AND staff members year after year. We have seen no drop off in quality, they deliver a consistent product day in and day out, and we just keep coming back as it feels like home to us.
Laura - GM and Jake - Front Desk Manager both set the standard - hospitality management starts at the top
Eric and Edgar - Doormen - are full of info about town they know where to eat and at what time you can actually get a table
Carmine and Luke at Ski Valet
Jen at Breakfast
All the staff at the front desk - always friendly and knowledgeable
All housekeeping staff - fantastic job everywhere
What a wonderful stay!! Edgar was super helpful with the bags, the skis and the checkout. Laura (GM) is a delight as she welcomed us at the cocktail party on night one, and all the staff deserve a pat on the back.
The rooms are so charming, beds comfy and the ambiance outstanding. Oh and breakfast was delicious too! Finished it off with a very relaxing spa day at the Peaks spa.
Five stars ⭐️we feel amazing!

The first thing we should say is that this is the THIRD time we chose to stay at The Inn at Lost Creek. The 2nd and 3rd times were because of how incredible the 1st time was.
Before we even got into the building with our luggage, the Bellman asked if he could take our 2 pair hard ski case to the ski valet area, which he did. The luggage was loaded onto a luggage cart and "stored" until our room was ready. We went down to Mountain Village and had lunch. When we got back the front desk woman told us our room was ready and gave us the room keys. The desk folks and ski valet people get to know your names by the end of the week. We went up and our luggage had been delivered to the room. We stayed in a "Cimmaron" Jr. Suite room which has a two sided gas fireplace, one side facing the living area the other side facing the bedroom. We turned this on EVERY night. There was a large screen TV in the living room area, and a smaller TV in the bedroom area. There were several streaming services to choose from. The room had a flat surface cook top, small refrigerator (no freezer), coffee maker with coffee, filters, sugars, teas, etc. The unit was also FULLY stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, etc.
The room was cleaned and bed made every day. Every evening staff offered small "goodies" consisting of chocolate candies, bah salts, and foot balm.
Full buffet breakfast is included each morning. There were 5 hot items to choose from each day. A "daily Special" which during our stay was French toast twice, breakfast burritos, breakfast tacos, pancakes. The other hot dishes every day are crispy bacon, sausage links, scrambled eggs, and potato squares with red and green peppers, onions. The cold items included Pan du Chocolate, several cold cereals, donuts, fresh fruit - pineapple, Kiwi, strawberries, cantaloupe, and blackberries. Also, low fat plain Greek Yogurt with mix ins of granola, walnuts, slivered almonds.
The ski valet system is wonderful. Walk to the ski valet area in your shoes. The valet will bring your ski boots to you, and store your shoes. Every morning around 8:00 AM the ski valet takes all the skis and poles out to a private ski rack. A very short walk to the rack where you can ski down the hill to the lift. At the end of the day you can physically ski back to the rack. Leave your skis and poles and the valet brings them in for the night. Take your boots off in the valet area and they are stored for the night. In the valet area is free lip balm and small bottles of sunscreen.
We LOVE this place.
From the minute we arrived on the site to the minute we left, the facilities and staff were fantastic.
The steam shower was wonderful to help with the dry air and the reservations for the hot tub made for intimate roof top viewing of the full moon, stunning!
The staff made our every need spectacular; from the turn down service to bringing our vehicle up for our use. Who ever is in charge of hiring and training these people needs accolades.
If a return trip is the best indicator, then like Arnold “we’ll be back”
We have been coming back to The Inn at Lost Creek for about six or seven seasons now, and every time we arrive it feels like coming home. The location in Mountain Village truly cannot be beat. It is right in the heart of everything and the true ski valet service makes skiing incredibly easy and convenient.
What really keeps us coming back though is the people. The staff is wonderful. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to see you again each season. It feels less like checking into a hotel and more like returning to family. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of.
The Inn has such a cozy, homey atmosphere that we love after a long day on the mountain. It is one of those special places that once you find it, you really do not want to stay anywhere else in Telluride.
We are already looking forward to coming back again next season.
Perfect location for skiing, walking distance to everything in mountain village and the Gondola to Telluride. Included daily breakfast was great for our teenage son since we don’t eat breakfast. Room was exactly what we needed with a little kitchenette and washer/dryer. Bed was comfortable and we controlled the room temp by opening the window when needed. The fireplace was cozy when we left the window open too long.
Great location and the staff was friendly and helpful. Ski rentals are just steps away, and the Inn’s Ski Valet is super convenient. Breakfast is top notch - with something special made each day, in addition to other hot and cold options. You can’t go wrong staying at the Inn at Lost Creek!
Great location, easy ski in/out. The ski valet is a nice touch. Christie Sports in the building so it makes renting very easy. Nice hot tubs that you can reserve for your party. But the staff is what makes this place!
This is the third year in a row my husband and I stayed at the Inn at Lost Creek. The service and personal attention can’t be beat. Jake ensured our stay was everything we expected. Eric goes above and beyond to make us feel at home. Edgar helps us get in and out with all our gear. The front desk staff, Karen and Julia, are so friendly. At breakfast, Jen is ready with conversation as well as ski and local spot tips and Emma is always energetic and welcoming. Luke and Carmine in the ski valet are ready and waiting to help with our skis and have good information to help us on the slopes. Beyond the exceptional people we’ve gotten to know, the people we haven't met keep our room clean and welcoming, prepare a stellar breakfast every morning and keep the hot tub hot for us after a long day of skiing. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we come to Telluride. Thank you!
We continue to return to the Inn at Lost Creek. The surroundings are magnificent and the staff always makes you feel comfortable.
The best ski vacation our family has ever had. The staff were phenomenal. Everyone from housekeeping to front desk to the bellman there were superb. Big shout out to the management of this property they are doing an amazing job. Can’t wait to go back
Great service from all the team and our room was comfortable with a small kitchen and laundry which was useful. Only issue was our room was very noisey at night - likely caused by internal air con unit in the wall. Would definitely stay at the Inn again - just not that room.
