Ein schönes klassisches NY Hotel für die ganze Familie
Pros:

Gibt es nichts zu meckern bei diesem Hotel.
Das Gym ist vielleicht ein wenig klein, aber zum laufen ist der Central Park nicht weit entfernt.
Also tolle Lage, bequeme Betten, nettes Personal und zuverlässige Raumpflege

Not a happy stay

Lage living room, location excellent

Cons:

The Airconditioning was very weak. The first night we checked in had to change the room at 1AM in morning as could not sleep due to poor airconditioning. The new room had better but still inadequate air -conditioning. And these were the FIFA days when the heat wave was not there. The bedroom and washroom are very limited size - no frills, most basic. There is a large living room area that is dimly lit and dingy. So overall one sees the size of room at 500+ sq ft, huge by NY standards but bedroom and washroom small. It is a no frills place, old, painted new. BTW there was a coffee maker in room but they refused to provide tea bags.

Friendly staff in a tired hotel, book for the location, not the vibe

Cons:

The hotel looks a lot nicer in the photos. In reality, it seems tired, the interior, the dirty windows, the loud AC units, the internet repeatedly didn't connect. My room (3rd floor) had a loud set of compressor units right outside the window that screeched through the night. I know, New York New York. Can't expect too much. I've lived here for 17 years. But still. I wanted to like it - but, sorry, won't come again.

Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt um viel zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn zu erreichen. Alles war sehr sauber. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder ins The Renwick kommen.

Great stay! Peter was the highlight!

Great location, friendly staff, room needs an upgrade.
Pros:

The hotel does offer free coffee in the lobby every morning. The bar /restaurant is very characterful, and every night it was busy. We did eat twice, in the restaurant, and the food was very good. Location is excellent, we are 1 minute walk from Grand Central Station, 4-5 mins walk from Bryant park and NYC library, 10-15 mins walk from Macy’s and Empire State Building, and around 20-30 mins from Plaza hotel/ Trump tower/ Central Park, but this depends on traffic and number of people walking. There are plenty of bars / restaurants nearby, and near Bryant park, there are some lovely cafe’s. The hotel road is quiet.

Cons:

Our room, whilst big and roomy, lacked a wardrobe and storage, and the bathroom lacked sufficient facilities to dry/ hand wet towels. The shower temperature was also very difficult to control, and we had to ask for sufficient towels for the room on three occasions. The carpet in the room looked very worn.

Had an amazing stay at The Renwick Hotel for my birthday. I travel to New York often and this is by far the best hotel experience I've had in NY! Jasmine and Jose went above and beyond to make sure the staff was excellent. Because of Jasmine and Jose I will pick The Renwick hotel for all NYC trips, business or leisure. There is also a great bar attached to the hotel with amazing staff as well. Bo at the bar made amazing drinks. Look forward to returning very soon!
