Great location, very clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff, will definitely stay here again.
Pros:

The hotel as a whole was very clean. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed walking around the property. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Del Mar.

Everything was great, there wasn't anything we didn't like.

Cute hotel on the beach...great service
Pros:

Stayed at this hotel since it was just 10 minutes from the San Diego fairgrounds. The rooms are very clean and nice pool and jacuzzi. Landscaping and outdoor area are well maintained and pool is quiet. Cute gem on the beach! Would definitely come back.

The stuff at the front desk was amazing! Especially Barbara with her great patience and Ursulla with her very warm welcome and demeanor!
The balcony with the ocean view was a winner! Every time we are in the SD area we will make sure to return to this hotel. It is a GEM!

Cons:

I would change the light bulbs to warm light rather than white; that is the only comment I have. The white lights give a feeling of a cheap, cold place, which is not the case at all for this location. It is a great and welcoming place, with an excellent location and atmosphere.

Overpriced for the condition of the facilities, the bed was comfortable, but the room overall was not very comfortable.
Pros:

Location was a short walk from the restaurants and beaches

Cons:

It wasn’t very comfortable in the room, there wasn’t a sofa, it was more like a little bench, it was decorated strangely and seemed a little dated. There were a few families in the pool area with lots of young children who mostly seem to be under the age of six, they were using the hot tub is a swimming pool and that’s what my husband and I had arrived to use, the hot tub. It was also noted that they had friends coming in that we’re not staying at the property and they were also putting their kids in swim trunks and putting them in the hot tub and notably kids that were in diapers, were not being put in swim diapers. This whole situation turned us off and it was reported to the front desk. Needless to say, I did not feel they had good control over their facilities and who was using them, and adhering to the post guidelines. This was a big detraction.

Quiet place to stay with above average amenities if you enjoy driving everywhere
Pros:

Serene and most rooms were secluded. Close to bluffs trail (walkable). Fitness center was a decent size!

Cons:

Bathroom felt like a closet. Workspace was not big enough. Internet was intermittent.

Hidden Gem Retreat!
Pros:

We found this hotel on the internet wanting ocean views and quiet rest. We found our match at Indigo Del Mar. Benito was amazing, honoring our IHG status and our upgraded room had private balcony with incredible sunset views. The staff is wonderful. Good breakfast in the restaurant which also has amazing views. It was just a restful quiet 4 night stay we would definitely do again. Highly recommend. Location unbeatable. Del Mar is a beautiful coastal town. Don't miss it!

Lovely hotel that worka for dogs and humans.
Pros:

Very welcoming staff, extremely dog friendly. Sunset toast was an unexpected bonus.

Cons:

A lot of stairs to navigate but we knew that going in, they were accommodating and made sure we had first floor room with dogs.Beach not very accessible without walking a bit towards town - probably 15 minutes.
