Fantastic experience, impeccable cleanliness and hospitality! I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The property is extremely well-managed, which shows in every detail. It is hands-down the cleanest hotel I've been to—the rooms and common areas were completely spotless. What really made the trip special was the staff and management. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome and valued throughout my entire visit. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back!

Had a great stay at the Rockley, this was our second visit to the the hotel and it did not disappoint (only issue was my stay was short, two nights). Excellent service and the room was clean. The staff was always very helpful. The breakfast was very good with local dishes included. Location was perfect, with the beach over the road, fine restaurants close by and transportation readily accessible.

My family and I recently stayed at the Rockley for a week while celebrating my aunt’s 80th birthday, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. Traveling with a large family group can sometimes be challenging, but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable.

From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, friendly, and attentive. The team consistently provided excellent customer service and was always willing to assist with any requests or accommodations our group needed. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed throughout our entire stay.

The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind after each day’s activities. We also thoroughly enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet, which offered a variety of delicious options and was a great way to start each morning.

What stood out most was how accommodating the staff was in helping to coordinate and support such a large group during our family celebration. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring everything ran smoothly did not go unnoticed and contributed greatly to making my aunt’s milestone birthday even more special.

Overall, we had an exceptional experience at the Rockley and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming hotel with outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and a dedicated staff that truly cares about its guests. We look forward to returning in the future.

I’ve just arrived back from a weeks stay with my sister and husband. The hotels in a great location central to everywhere with great bus services on your doorstep. You can hop on a bus and go anywhere for 3.50 bds.
It’s a busy area but laid back at the same time. Everyone is polite and helpful, when crossing the busy road cars, taxis, buses stop to let you cross safely.
The staff were all lovely and polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Special shout out to Tyrique and Seth always so happy in their work, great lads who are a credit to you.
The breakfast was really nice with enough choice to satisfy anyone.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable, it could do with a lick of a paint but that’s just cosmetic.
The house keepers always worked hard with a smile on their faces our room was always spotless.

We had a fantastic experience at Rockley. The hotel was in good condition, a nice pool, bar and dining facilities. The hotel staff were incredibly hardworking and friendly throughout our visit. They truly went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and to meet our asks. We really appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere and staff taking time to engage in conversation. They generated and encouraged a friendly atmosphere across the cadre of guests. Add that the beach was less than 50paces from the hotel and transport by bus available even closer and we couldn't go wrong. A great stay.

We can't say enough good about the experience. We paid a little extra for a room with a separate bedroom. The room was like a small apartment with a large balcony that you could sit at a table and ready or lay on a lounger in the sun. Everyone was so kind and friendly! The beach was across the street. The pool wasn't crowded. Lots of restaurants in the area. Easy access to buses. Shops were close by. All in all, we had an amazing vacation.

This is the third time my partner and I have stayed at The Rockley.
This is a small hotel with the best staff you could ever wish to meet.
Our room was on the fourth floor, we had a separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and lounge area.A balcony with a beautiful view of the sea,which I just over the road.
The bed is large and comfortable,you have a wardrobe and safe.
The kitchen has everything you need if you wish to cook.
The lounge area has table and chairs, sofa and chair and a tv,it opens onto the balcony which has table and chairs.
We had bed and breakfast, there is plenty of choice.
I would highly recommend you have some evening meals,the food is of an extremely high standard. The chef is amazing and makes the best bread pudding with rum sauce.We also had lunch a few times.
There is a small gym and books and games, we loved the pool table,outside there is a lovely pool with very comfortable sunbeds.
The location of this hotel is perfect, there are taxis opposite and shops to the right of the hotel. The best thing is the beach,you can use towels from the hotel. You also get your sunbeds and parrasole at no extra cost.
I highly recommend you go to The Tiki bar which is to the left on the beach. To the right of the hotel is the boardwalk where you will find more places to eat.
But the very best thing about this hotel is the wonderful manager, assistant manager and the staff. Each and every member of staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
When we arrived we were greeted with the biggest smile and a cuddle because we were remembered,a cool flannel and a drink.
All staff no matter what their position is always take time to say hello and have a chat.There is nothing that is too much trouble, if they can help in any way they do.It is the staff that bring us back, they are kind,so very hard working, always with a smile.
I personally feel very at home because they make you feel like part of them, like family.
I won't mention names because they are all amazing but there are a few who came home in our hearts and they will know who they are.

The Rockley is a perfectly located boutique hotel right opposite the beach and the Boardwalk. Many modes of public transport available just out front and is very affordable. Restaurants and entertainment of many varieties are walking distance. The hotel itself offers bed and breakfast, daily activities, tours and fantastic bar and restaurant services where the waiting staff are attentive. The rooms are all very well appointed and offers more conveniences of a typical hotel room- as a bonus there is a washer& dryer on every floor than are free to use. Located on the main road makes for easy transport and I was never bothered by road-noise. I never once felt unsafe .Personable front desk and daily housekeeping staff are there to look after you- what more can you want ?

Location was perfect. St Lawrence Gap one way. Bridgetown the other. Beach opposite.
We were greeted on arrival by Troy and his staff.
A cold flannel and a Rum Punch were offered to us whilst checking in which was a nice touch.
The bedroom was perfect with a massive bed, Kitchenette, Sofa and armchairs.
The balcony offered views out to the small but never crowded pool, and through the trees, you can see the ocean.
All food was reasonable.
The bar closes very promptly at 10.30 but sometimes if not busy it would be earlier.
Troy is full of knowledge and his tour of the island was brilliant.
He was also extremely helpful if you had an queries.
All amenities were close by too with transport literally outside the door if you wanted to give your legs a rest.
A truly wonderful place to stay.
We will be back one day, that's for sure.

Twice now we’ve stayed here and we cannot fault The Rockley. Great location between The Gap and Bridgetown. Beach across the road. Breakfast varied.
Rooms have amazing air condition and very well insulated for noise from neighbours
Chilled atmosphere

My stay at the rockley was exceptionally good not because of the rooms which were nice and not because of the atmosphere, which was also nice, but it was solely based on the people that worked there who made my stay magnificent. I was supposed to go there with someone in that person ditched me and every single staff member that I met was extremely nice and hospitable. I even have friends now and Barbados.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is a very welcome to some of Barbados cuisines. Also, the beach is right across the street.

Excellent location. Just cross the street and you’re on a beautiful beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Food and other amenities are all within a short walk from the lounge. But what I loved most was the staff, who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I also appreciated the variety of tours they offered—Boardwalk Sunset Walk, Foursquare Rum Tour, Island Tour—and how they showcased local artists throughout the property. This may have been our first time at the Rockley, but it definitely won’t be our last.

Excellent time and location for our first visit to Barbados. Low season meant less crowds and location close to shops, beach and Bridgetown was ideal.

The staff really make this hotel. They are such kind and friendly people and a joy to chat with. The hotel itself is in a great location for access to the beach, public transport and bars /restaurants/shops etc. The only down side is the road out front can be noisy - apart from that- it is fantastic. Breakfast is included and very nice - especially the freshly made omelettes. We would stay here again.

We recently returned from a stay at The Rockley for our honeymoon. The hotel was a great find. We were greeted by the lovely Dedreia who gave us all the information we needed. Our room was decorated with balloons which was a nice touch. Big shout out to the lovely Troy for always checking in and chatting to us, he’s a great guy who organises a lot round the hotel. The breakfast each morning was great, a good variety each day and warm coffee. Big up to the guys on the bar Nathan, Nathaniel, Rakel and Brett, they are so good at what they do the cocktails were brilliant. The hotel is in a great location with a beach across the road where you get free beds and umbrella. Don’t be afraid to jump on a ZR bus locals are friendly and will help you get to where you need to be. Highlights from our trip were harbour lights dinner show, Oistins fish fry and the Mount gay distillery

We had a wonderful ten days over the Easter break at the Rockley beach hotel Barbados. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with a special mention to Troy. There was a bottle of wine and a cheese platter awaiting us as it was our 40th anniversary. There were a number of extra touches that made our holiday very special and we would happily recommend the hotel to anyone.

Hi everyone.
For those of you who are coming to the Rockley by Ocean Hotels in Barbados will not be disappointed. This is our 3rd visit currently still here. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and exceptionally helpful. You pay decent money to get here but you take a lot more out of the island when you leave which money can't buy.
The Rockley is well situated and transport links are brilliant. 100% you'll want to come back.

The location is perfect especially for those without their own transport, Pool, beach , food and shopping very close by. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. No problem with noise, enjoyed the Karaoke Great pool and beach opposite the hotel was great.
