Great location, not the most up to date rooms depending on where your room is!
Pros:

Location is super convenient to whale watching, food, the brewery, and souvenir shopping - also walkable / super close drive to GeoSea!

Cons:

The old part of the hotel is really not modern at all and if they put you in that part of it, it’s pretty smelly and dingy. Plus the building isn’t very secure, all the external doors on the side don’t lock so anyone can come in anytime, and the room doors in the old building don’t auto-lock, so if you forget to lock your door with your physical key or at night, you could have some bad luck!

Sehr weiterzuempfehlen!
Pros:

Das Fosshotel liegt wirklich sehr in Zentrum. Alles drum herum ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Leider konnten wir aufgrund einer Rundreise nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel bleiben. Wir können es aber sehr weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für Alles!

Super Hotel mitten in Husavik
Pros:

Top Lage mitten in Husavik. Sehr großes geräumiges Zimmer. Betten sehr gut, nicht zu weich. Großer kostenloser Parkplatz. Shopping, Hafen, Restaurants in Fußweite. Trotz einiger Reisegruppen recht ruhig. Frühstück ist Island-Standard, es ist aber alles da, was man möchte (inklusive Cod Liver Oil), auch gutes Obst (Melonen, Ananas), der Porridge ist ungezuckert (positiv!), guter Kaffee. Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Bar (wir waren nicht im Restaurant), schönes Foyer. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Cons:

Frühstück in einem großen Konferenzraum mit großen Tischen, hat etwas von Kantinenatmosphäre, ist aber okay. Lüften im Zimmer nur über ein Klappfenster möglich, das nicht ganz schließt, daher zog es etwas. Der Thermostat an der Heizung hat leider etwas geleckt (aber die Heizung funktionierte), am Boden lag ein alter Thermostat mit Draht, etwas seltsam.

Nice location, good beds and pillows, nice and friendly staff
Commun areas big and modern.

Cons:

Bath small. Sink extremely small. No space for bottles or anything you have. Plastic curtain that stick to your body when taking shower!!
Not good blind for windows....especially during white nights.
