A Short But Very Nice Stay in Husavik's Fosshotel
Pros:

As part of our "Do It Yourself" Diamond Circle tour, we parked our hire car in the hotel car park - plenty of spaces, and plenty of nearby parking. We were greeted by an official but very pleasant gentleman at reception. Check-in / registration was perfect. Hats-off to this gentleman - he is an asset to the hotel. Lovely man and very friendly & helpful.

Our room was great; bed comfortable, very clean, shower great & toilet very good.

We did have breakfast and that was good. We had dinner out in the town which was very nice!

Cons:

A very pleasant experience at this hotel, I must say. However... it was an interesting experience at breakfast. Lots of the table had "Reserved" signs on them which limited where we could sit... apparently. Until... we realised, it wasn't the case. (it was a ruse, apparently) Basically sit where you want, as we did! Alas the breakfast staff were young and fully engaged with their phones / social media. I get it. I have children. The breakfast buffet was very good (especially when the exhausted foods were replenished once the social media had been dealt with). I say this tongue in cheek as I thought it pretty funny tbh. I apologise to the staff not on their phones taking this as criticism of them. It's not. Just an observation :o)

Emplacement idéal, proche du port, mais au calme.
Bon petit-déjeuner mais salle de petit-déjeuner très grande et impersonnelle.
Hotel propre, bien équipé.

Modernes und sauberes Zimmer
Zentrale Lage

Cons:

Rießiger Frühstücksraum mit 10 er Tischen, dadurch überhaupt kein Ambiente
Zimmer war sehr warm, das Fenster konnte nur gering geöffnet werden
