No Regrets, totally worth it!
Pros:

Loooved our stay at Hotel Erwin. Best location! Great to spend time on the beach, go to hotel to freshen up, and go back to beach or walk the boardwalk. We had a partial Beach view that we could sit on our balcony and have coffee in the morning and just watch the waves roll in. Everything you need is literally within a block radius - food, convenience store, drinks...etc.
The hotel was spotless and smelled sooo fresh. It is very modern and room was spacious for 4 of us. Front Desk was very quick to address requests and also provide beach gear.

Cons:

A microwave in the room would have definitely been beneficial. Also, another elevator (only 1) for guest use. We tried using stairs a few times, and would end up in random places.
Also, I could not figure out the espresso maker in the room, even after following directions.

Pros:

I liked the opulence of the room with the simple color palette with pops of color. The beach is close but far. I walked the boardwalk and had funnel cake. The room featured a lot of temptations i was about to indulged until I saw price tag.

Cons:

I think huge bug followed me in the room . The compliment breakfast is a thing i shied away from because it has to be in a line with other choices. I wish they had a gym or fitness center because it would be beautiful view and riding a bike.

People were not friendly. Breakfast was below average, just yogurt muffins and coffee. Also a yoghurt cannot be considered as European one. View depends on the room.

It was close to the beach and the boardwalk. Walking distance to everything we needed. The suites were a good size. The balcony was nice and long with a view of a backside of the boardwalk, the beach and the palm trees.

Cons:

The price is a little steep per day for incidentals. 150 per day.

Cons:

Wasted money for breakfast, they give you practly notning (yogurt and muffin), everything is extra charged. The bathroom is about 50 years old!!! Venice beach is a dirty place full of homeless and drug addicts.
