Pros:

My husband and I are in town dealing with medical issues. It is extremely stressful. Especially dealing with life changing issues without the simple comforts of being home. This is a tiny gem in a large pool of properties throughout the competitive set. We always prioritize cleanliness, efficiency, and value. Both of us are retired hoteliers. With GM, Corporate, Task Force, and DOSM careers. We’ve both represented many brands private and public from Coast to Coast. Mt husband was the General Manager at a luxury resort in Lake Placid NY. We admittedly have high standards and naturally notice far more than a frequent traveler. Hotels of all tiers can offer a valuable rate, amenities, and points but one thing that can’t be bought or added is the overall guest experience. This hotel has one of the most impressive teams throughout all departments. They provide customer service equal to if not better than some 4 or 5 star hotels and resorts. They have truly amazed us each day. It is extremely rare these days to find accommodations that offer a value, safety, location and most importantly a Clean and extremely well managed experience. We do not have enough space to appropriately share how many team members have provided Excellent customer service with genuine old school “hospitality “. The Management, Desk team, Housekeeping, FandB to houseman and all members of this team have been exceptional! As we are working through medical appointments we had to decide if it was worth saving on the travel, gas, and stress between treatments and diagnostic hours at the local hospital. What we initially planned on being a couple of days has now become a value to us by staying here verses commuting. We never planned on this and absolutely 100% only opted to add this to our expenses due to the CONSISTENTLY amazing hospitality. It has provided the best option for not being at home with the comforts you leave when traveling.

Cons:

The only issue would be a foundation or structural challenge. It would be terrific if they had additional
Handicapped rooms or rooms closer to a door for easier exit and entrance for guests with challenges. Even this has been managed extremely well by the desk caring enough to make calls and do all they could do to keep us in a room that was the most
Conducive for our needs. It would simply be a good forward thinking plan to provide more rooms with easier accessibility to the parking lot.
