Stunning hotel with a breath-taking view of the Matterhorn
Pros:

The best place we've ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning hotel, right on the main street of Zermatt - incredibly convenient location for the train station or going out into town. Despite it's central location our room was quiet and our sleep undisturbed - no noises from the street or inside the hotel.

The hotel itself was beautiful decorated, very tasteful and atmospheric. Extreme attention to detail. We especially loved the old photographs of Zermatt.

All the staff were very helpful and kind, and the whole check-in and out process extremely smooth. We were provided with a key code to let ourselves in after hours which was very helpful.

The room was amazingly large, with a king-sized bed, enormous cupboard, extra armchairs, desk and a balcony table. The bathroom was modern and spacious, fitted with both a bath and a shower cabin. All the cleaning products were provided.

The highlight was definitely the view - our windows and balcony were coming out onto the back garden, facing directly the magnificent Matterhorn - could not imagine a better view. Breath-taking and unexpected! Would not regret just sitting in the room for ours for the view from the window alone.

Breakfast was included in the price and served in a very spacious dining area. It was incredibly well-stocked with all the things one could expect, and more. From warm dishes like baked beans and eggs (all kinds of preparation methods), bacon; through various cereal, breads, pastries, cold meats, vegetables and fruit, cheeses, in-house-made preserves, as well as different juices, coffees and teas. The best breakfast selection we have seen - amazingly fresh and tasty. The view from the dining hall overlooking the mountains and the pleasant ambience of the building made the experience all the better.

We very genuinely sad to be leaving and wish we could have stayed longer. Could not recommend it more, even for special occasions - I am sure it would make an excellent honeymoon suite.

Cons:

The only thing that we did not like was the lack of kettle in our room, or no vending machine in the hotel for the purpose of late-night purchases (as all the shops close very early in the area).

We had a great time staying here and we'd love to come back again.
Pros:

I love everything about this hotel. Few minutes walk from the train station, beautiful room, super comfy bed (we slept soooo well), friendly staff, very clean and it has good selection of breakfast. The hotel also has a mini-spa which I sadly didn't get to try as we didn't have enough time.

第一天抵达的前台态度不好，可以直接了当告诉我们不提供烧水壶和开水，而不是带着教人做事的态度跟我们说，不仅会处以200瑞郎罚金，并且应该像他一样出来旅游就要到各个地方品尝当地美食。是否吃晚饭、以及是否在餐馆吃晚饭、以及在何餐馆吃晚饭，这个是我们自己的事，而不应该由任何人告诉我们“应该”怎么做。

Pros:

Unbelievably comfortable. Facilities and amenities are too class. Spa is 10/10. Staff is warm and hospitable. Cafe is top notch. By no means it’s a three star it’s at least four star.

Beautiful Mountain Resort Experience
Pros:

Heatwave across Europe but temperature dropped nicely at night. Room was spacious, balcony was nice to sit with our friends.

Cons:

Tub was a little slippery, we both have balance issues 😁
